Something Benny and the media are covering up is the identity of the uniforms they seized yesterday and the 'national' identity of the Muslim's wearing them. at last a wise guy approves the need to modify the Peace Treaty as Israel can never do the job alone. The Treaty contains a clause permitting Egypt to demand that modification or reformation.

Tighter tactical coordination is needed between the IDF Southern command and the Egyptian Sinai forces to eradicate the problem. Instability in Sinai is bad for both countries. The Egyptians are hamstrung by the limits of the peace treaty and their current political situation. It is best if Israel gives them a little cover and space to do what both countries need to get done. Egypt is not embarking on any war any time soon. They are however going through a political mess. Of all the power parties in Egypt, the most pragmatic and most likely to work with Israel is the Army. Give them the time and space to do what needs to be done!
