In Europe there can be freedom of religion, but Israel for Jews only exists BECAUSE of religion, otherwise Jews would have no right to this land. That's why Torah laws are above State laws in Israel and those laws cannot go contrary to Torah laws.

They call this an attack on Jewish traditions but it is much more. It is not about the Jews but about the animals which are killed in this harsh and terrible way. I have seen video's of these slaughtering s which is more often than not done shabbily as they have so many to kill which means that the animal do suffer. I would have though that Jews knowing the sufferings commit by the Nazis would understand the animals plight but that is not to be sadly. It is written in scripture that we cannot say that we are better than animals, that our spirit goes up and theirs down.....maybe there will be more space for them in heaven as they are the innocent and we the perpetrators.
