From their point of view, the factual truth is immaterial, because they claim that Israel is guilty on the whole issue. So they allow themselves to lie about Israel - this done in may ways, e.g. by portraying any Palestinian rumor as fact. For example, they claim that Israel is still occupying Gaza, and therefore they view Israel responsible for any Gaza misfortune. You've missed the point. It's a question of balance. The BBC does not seem to feel obligated to present balanced newscasts. They are not alone in that, but it does represent an intolerable erosion in journalism, which is to present the news, not to shade it. The BBC is consistently anti-Israel. That's just fact. No I am suggesting the Fogel family should be seen in a global context rather than an Israeliocentric one. The reality is as awful as the Fogel family situation was on that day, it was a minor event outside of Israel in comparison to the Tsunami slamming into Japan killing 20,000 people and causing the meltdown of four nuclear reactors, whose radiation has now been picked up in the United States.
