No, what Israel really needs is counter activists to make the case that the way to lower the cost of living, and improve the standard of living and quality of life is NOT more social welfare but exactly the opposite, namely more free markets, more competition, less government, lower taxes, deregulation, and more, not less, statism and failed dependency based welfare programs! The social protesters have legitimate complaints but their proposed solutions would make things far worse, Israel needs activists making the case for free market capitalism since unfortunately, in the economic sphere, the discourse is still dominated by a leftist and socialist establishment.

Couldn't be just too little education, too much TV, no parents and responsible friends, and no sense of achievement. It is sooo much easier to blame a governemnt than it is to deal with a complex issue up close and personal--you know, like create a job.

Lets return our shekel back to a silver standard, so I can save my money for the future, instead of spending it before inflation destroys my purchasing power,
