This is a TERRIBLE tragedy. Our deep heartfelt condolences to the families of these fine young men. May they never again know any sorrow.
2. Is there Drivers Ed in Israel or is it a suggestion?
Al   (06.27.12)
A tiny little country with lousy tiny cars on poorly designed roads and a driving population that is nervous with the service. A receipe for disaster. Sad loss of young lives.
4. Very sad, condolences to the families

Hamakom Yenachem Etchem! These men are the cream of the IDF. I served with men like them, they are real true worriors! Atleast the dead soldiers are in the respectful hands of the haredi ZAKA org. May they rest in peace with the rightous.
6. Thank you Ynet

7. Crashing into the rear of a truck???
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.27.12)
Our armed forces lost a few men due to stupidity. They can't crash into the rear of a truck unless speed and reckless driving were involved. As a matter of fact, I would not be surprised if drugs and alcohol were involved. Its about time we clean up our armed forces...
8. Tragedy on the road.

“lousy tiny cars”? You haven’t been in Israel for awhile, have you? The cars are the same ones driven in Europe.

If you truly want to stop worrying about the killing of civilians, ask Hamas and Hezbollah to stop hiding behind them. Or are your eyes as tightly shut as one might think?

Cassandra ,   Israel   (06.28.12)
You should be ashamed of yourself for writing something like this, especially at the risk of somebody they know reading it. The driver could have fainted or their breaks could have gone out just as what happened when the family of eight died last month. And you know what? Even if they were speeding or looked away from the road, they don't deserve to die. I hope they find the cause of the accident and you can say mechila for your terribly cruel and insensitive comment.
12. WHAT A TRAGEDY!!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (06.28.12)
My deepest condolences to the family of these service men!! We need better roads in Israel. Hopefully, we will start planning after this terrible accident.
