1. sounds exciting
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (07.01.12)
can wait to hear all of the gory news reports :-)
2. Olmert and his henchmen
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.01.12)
Olmert is rotten to the core, and has been so for years, and yet he was kept in power by people like Ehud Barak, Saul Mofaz and Zippy Livni. Shouldn't these henchmen be held accountable for keeping this crook in power?
3. Wow, more expensive than Brian Mulroney
R Narz ,   Toronto   (07.01.12)
Our former and unlamented Prime Minister was implicated in receiving $300,000 in envelopes (he insists only $225,000 but still a bribe is a bribe). Olmert does better than that. Let's hope he paid his taxes on that bribe; Mulroney did not do so til well after the fact. He "forgot", right.
4. # 2 Israeli Israeli ask a 5 year old
Haim ,   TA   (07.01.12)
Umm i think if you ask any 5 year old or a monkey they will tell you there isnt a law against as you put it "keeping this crook in power" which goes to show the level of your intelligence. But if your looking for crooks i suggest you try the $h-ass party , 7 $H-A$$ MKs jailed so far rather says it all . You can of course file a personal law suit agains Ehud Barak, Shaul Mofaz and Zippy Livini only i think you might find yourself taken away by someone wearing a white jacket.
5. Self destructing Israel !
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (07.01.12)
Stop the endless accusations and stalinist like trials against Israel's former leaders ! Only Israel's enemies are glad to hear it and they think this as an evidence of weakness.
6. Holy Land Affair
Israeli 2 ,   North Israel   (07.01.12)
Will all blow out with a whimper as the prosecution doesn't have a shred of solid evidence. Taxpayers money again.
7. olmert and zaken
milson   (07.01.12)
teh court has been protecting olmert and his secretary for some time. In holyland, it will take time but olmert will go to jail for 8 years and zaken will get at least 3 years. Coupled with the doublebilling affair, olmert should spend 10 years in jail so he would be about 75 when he is released. He is in good physical condition. He will receive visitors like ramon, liel, beilin, ben ami, peretz, mofaz, shai, bar-on, all of haaretz journalists and lapid who doesn't want rank and file israelis to know that he is being advised by olmert and dov weisglass , another loser.
8. #4 I don't understand
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.01.12)
I agree that Shas are thieves, but my insanity prevents me from understanding the rest of your letter. Zippy, Saul and Ehud kept Olmert in power. Assuming they weren't given bribes to be silent, it means either they were too stupid to see he was a thief or they did nothing knowing he was a thief. This being the case, do you think any of these three are qualified to be Ministers?
