1. Yeah ! Dig that skeleton up
Cool !   (07.04.12)
2. Suspicious Timing
Rube Vogel ,   Jerusalem   (07.04.12)
Arafat dying when Sharon decided he was an enemy and then Sharon dying when Olmert had wangled the position of second-in-command to Sharon... Has conspiracy written all over it.
3. Israel could have killed him many times over but didn't
SGilbert ,   Teaneck   (07.04.12)
The whole thing is just the sort of stupid rumoring that is so prevalent to the backward, paranoid Muslim world.
4. The timing is quite remarkable.
Li ,   USA   (07.04.12)
It is very unlikely the push originated in Doha.
5. Time to show the movie, make popcorn and smile.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (07.04.12)
6. #2 Nonsense
Jake   (07.04.12)
When did Sharon NOT consider Arafat to be an enemy? When did he ever consider the PA to be a peace partner? But as #3 noted, the opportunity presented itself many times before, and Sharon did not oblige.
7. Palestinian sources?
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (07.04.12)
They are not reliable in anjy way. How about the medical records of the french hospital where he died? Radioactive material on arafat's belongings won't be accepted as evidence of poisoning him, if it was a case of faul play the hospital should've released the information to authorities.
8. French medical reports indicated he had a blood disorder
Jake   (07.04.12)
and a dangerously low platelet count. Arafat's symptoms had nothing to do with radioactive poisoning. More likely AIDS.
9. Couldn't happen to a filthier cockroach!!!
GRANT ,   SA   (07.04.12)
10. I am not saying naffink
Boaz ,   UK   (07.04.12)
But can someone shut the back door, there is a very strong drought coming in.........
11. who cares ??
cc ,   telaviv   (07.04.12)
12. Ararat
Joseph ,   USA   (07.04.12)
Yes,dig up the body and drive a stake through his heart.Who cares. He was a filthy blood sucker.
13. arafat
Sam M ,   UK   (07.04.12)
Lets celebrate the fact that this repulsive creature is long gone and if 'someone' gave him a little push and helped him on his way then so what, though frankly I doubt it. The only possible reason for this 'enquiry' is a crude attempt to demonise Israel and at the same time rehabilitate the reputation of this corrupt pervert in the eyes of the arab world. 72 virgins are wasted on him! It’s a pity allah doesn’t do choirboys!!
14. I do feel that they are bringing up
Arlene ,   Israel   (07.04.12)
conspiricy theories to really cover up that Arafart did die of AIDS, which is more likely. If he had help "on the way out" we wont know just yet!
15. His boyfriend was a nuclear scientist...
Bernie ,   France   (07.04.12)
16. A more reasonable theory
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.04.12)
Arafat was 75 when he died after living a sedentary high life at others' expense for many years. He was old,not fit and not strong enough to withstand illness. And that's all. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
17. Iran
Joe   (07.04.12)
February 2004: IAEA report says Iran experimented with polonium-210, which can be used to trigger the chain reaction in a nuclear bomb. Iran did not explain the experiments. Iran again agrees to suspend enrichment, but again does not.
18. radiation poisoning etc.
EZ   (07.04.12)
Why do journalists pontificate endlessly over things they don't understand? If Arafat was poisoned by radiation, his hair should have fallen out. (For example, Alexander Litvenenko was bald on his deathbed). Arafat seemed to have hair until his last pictures. The low platelet count could be due to radiation poisoning, but in this case, it should be easily solved by platelet transfusions. In Arafat's case, he seemed to be bleeding and clotting at the same time, most likely a result of disseminated intravascular coagulation.
19. And they didn't think of releasing this video???
Tahl   (07.04.12)
What the heck were our leaders waiting for??? Had they released this video, this would have spelled the end of Arafat, and maybe many of our terror casualties would have been spared. If indeed this story is true, then a commission of inquiry should be formed to investigate who is to blame for wasting such a golden opportunity.
20. They said the same thing about Col.Abdul Nasser
Roland Seener ,   London England   (07.04.12)
21. #17. Do you really have a point but unable to articulate...
Persian CAT   (07.05.12)
or, you're want to show that you're just stupid?
22. arafat
iva ,   italy   (07.05.12)
who bloody cares!!
23. There is no mystery.
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (07.05.12)
When someone is alleged to have died as a result of foul play, we look at who stood to gain by his death. Israel gained nothing by Arafat's death but we all know who did!
24. Arafat had many enemies
Itzik ,   Israel   (07.05.12)
His rivals in the Arab world were legion including Assad, Ghadafi, Mubarak, the Saudi royal family, etc. etc. Among his own people: Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Dahlan, Abbas, etc. etc. All had reasons to kill him, if indeed this is what happened.
25. Most important thing is that he is dead.
Mea   (07.05.12)
26. Arafat's symptoms were not compatible with AIDS
Ari   (07.06.12)
... as demonstratedby the New York Times, which hjad access to the medical file in 2005.
