Having met Chancellor Katehi at UC Davis, I can tell all Israelis that she is a remarkable woman and a credit to her profession. I believe she was one of the first woman in Greece to earn an electrical engineering degree. She is positioning UC Davis to become one of the preeminent research universities in the world. I am also the proud father of a UC Davis student, in his third year as a cell biology major.
