Before Mofaz replaced Livni as head of Kadima the Likud / Shas, / YB coalition was fracturing which was why we were facing elections. Mofaz gave Bibi that new lease of life he needed. . Unless he can prove himself a capable leader Mofaz doesn't have a chance and to do that he can't risk an election. If Mofaz is asking all or nothing the I question his motives is it really the Draft or is he doing this at the urge of Obama to bring down the goverment. If a few hundred are exempt and the rest are not that is a small price to pay for a compromise. I always believed in the universal draft to get that exempting a very small number is worth it.
