1. With only a week and a half left to the Tal law need to move
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (07.11.12)
With only a week and a half left to the Tal law you would think that they would be moving quicker on this. What happens on the 20th when the current exemptions expire?
2. I'm leaving, see ? My hand is on the handle, see ?

I'm going to open the door, see ? Mom has my old room cleaned and I'll be going, see ? Go already ! And don't let the door hit you !
3. Steering the Ship of State
Adam Neira ,   Paris, France   (07.11.12)
The changes to the national service policy should not be a cause of a split in the "Super-Coalition". To steer a ship through tricky waters you have to sometimes make controversial, difficult yet ultimately correct decisions. As Napoleon said "Strategy is the art of using time and space well."
4. Kadima has a habit of using this as blackmail.

5. Netanyahu vs Mofaz.
Spencer ,   Israel   (07.12.12)
Enough of this bickering and threatening to leave the coalition. Both Netanyahu and Mofaz want the religious to serve in the army. Only a small section of the Religious DON'T want to serve in the IDF Mr. Mofaz, get your act together. The coalition is strong enought to get rid of the smaller parties that are used to using blackmail as a means of achieving the objects, many of which are detrimental to the State of Israel. If you really are a patriot Mr. Mofaz, pull together with our Prime Minister and make Israel stronger, more secure and safer.
6. In an election today, Kadima would win as few as 3 seats.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.12.12)
Mofaz is trying to make the best of it. The reality is that Kadima is all but dead. Polls show that in an election today, Kadima would win as few as 3 seats. Bye bye corrupt, appeasing Kadima. You certainly won't be missed.

Trouble is the Tal Law issue and social justice mob will probably cost Bibi the election and we will probably get a coalition led by the far leftist Shelly Y along with the king of opportunit politics Yair Lapid, Meretz and possibly the remains of Kadima inviting Likud only if she can't get the numbers with that lot. I have no love for Kadima but better a coalition of them & Likud than Labor with its far left leader. To have any chance at winning the next election Bibi needs to ditch Shas & the nationalists in favor of a coalition with Mofaz and hopefully he can keep Liberman and then reform the Tal Law. The vast majority of Haredi would serve if the law was changed the problem is the religious political parties and some of the Rebbes of some sects not individuals. It's really only the radicl hardi who will fight to the end to avoid change.
