1. No"humanitarian"complains about Arab WMDs,their only
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (07.13.12)
problem in life is Israel Arab WMDs hardly ever get a mention yet antisemites love to whine about Jews "controlling the media" Hopefully the media will some day expose their sources of funding.
2. Theyre from Saddam & dont exist, remember?

5. Take this man out
Mark ,   U S.   (07.13.12)
The U.S. just needs to take this man out,,,, or is he U.S.'s man in the middle east. Something is very strange here as to why this killer is still alive, this man can be surgically removed, the U.S. has most of the on ground demographics and info of who surrounds this devil by the hour. Question is why is Bashar Assad important at this hour in this region, that he can't be removed, for surely he has warranted death by the killing of a people, this Balkanized Arab is not even a Semitic man but a Caucasoid Gog and Magog descendant ravacking hell, bloodshed and carnage right at Israel's door,,,, the atmosphere is nothing but death, right at Israel's door,, maybe we should ask Israel why is Bashar Assad important here,, for he surely and his regime is a conduit for the Iranian propaganda/Shia machine, it would seem the whole world would want this man removed. Something is strange here very strange.
6. Either its true or not
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.13.12)
The story may or may not be true. If true, you would have expected US forces to have already taken over and destroyed these weapons. If false, it raises the possibility that Obama is looking for an excuse to militarily intervene in Syria. Either way, it proves that Obama was an idiot. If he had cared about US interests, instead of trying to establish a new Arab state on Israeli land, he should have forced Assad to negotiate peace with Israel.
7. The last hope
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (07.13.12)
International community must supply the Syrian Rebel Army with the most modern slingshots. Then Assad surely will give up his hopeless fight and resigns. Swords and spears also needed for the rebels.
8. S-300s
Dwayne ,   Boise USAd   (07.13.12)
And on top of that, Syria might be finaly getting S-300s: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/13/world/europe/russian-ship-with-syrian-helicopters-embarks-on-renewed-voyage.html?_r=1
9. the Butcher of syria Is Feeling The Summer

Heat? His Blood Lust is about to Cresendo? As #3 Stated the late saddam's Last Secret comes To Light? May Ha Shem Give The Good Guys A Nudge To RESTORE BALANCE in the Region!!! שבת שלום/ברוך הא שם
10. Sadams WMD seem to have new owners
Arlene ,   Israel   (07.13.12)
but then we really knew he got them out of Iraq, "NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE" so lets hope Syria, the caretakers, will not pass them along to Iran. Its so easy to pull the wool over the eyes of the UN, or maybe they just dont want to see what goes on. Keep on moaning about Israel, donating to Gaza for weapons, now lets see what they do with Syria, and I dont think the rebels there have a hope in hell to get outside intervention because they have NADA there except a bunch of Syrias killing each other.
11. hmm, sadaams WMDs moving again?
jack bauer   (07.13.12)
why have them if you dont use them, rebels seem like a good choice, sounds to me hes protecting them from the madmen who want them (rebels) and the US will use it as one more reason to try and kill assad, who btw has never threatened other countries with them.... go figure, according to the media he is a rabid butcher
12. Reply to # 5 & #6
Abu Yussef al Yahudi ,   Bue_Aires-Argentina   (07.13.12)
I strongly agree with the statements of you both. Really, there is a big "question mark" ???, regarding the behaviour of the USA, the EU and Israel too, in view of the inhumane and merciless bloodshed in Syria. IMO, and in the opinion of a lot of people that are discussing this issue with me, something VERY WIERD and BIZARRE is going on in this now bloody country of the Middle East . In Spanish Language, there is a frase that describes this Human Tragedy: "Algo muy gordo se está cocinando en Siria" - that is "Something very fat is being cooked in Syria".
13. its a very smart move on Assads part
zionist forever   (07.13.12)
If its his intention or not I don't know but moving some of his chemical weapons lessens the chance of foreign intervention. If its all stored in one place first bomb dropped can be there to take away his gas weapon everybody is so scared of. Move some of it and you can bomb his primary storage site and he still has some gas to use. It also means that to be sure all the gas is destroyed ground troops eventually have to go in to find the stuff because you can't do that by air power alone and there is no way thats an option as far as the US is concerned. Nobody wants to send ground troops WMD hunting again. This is why Israel should have intervened weeks ago to destroy his WMDS before either he uses it or it falls into terrorist hands. The big question is now is he crazy enough to use them either as a last resort weapon when is back is up against the wall or to try and quash the protests.
14. That miserable black "President"
macktheknife   (07.13.12)
of America would give anything and all to see Israel wiped off the map. According to the Good Word, him and his ilk will be long gone whilst Israel (God's chosen) will still be standing. And there just aint nothing you arabs can do anything about it
15. There is nothing to worry about!
steve from raleigh   (07.13.12)
It's not a crime until the UN blames it on the Jews.
16. #14: Amen - Selah!

17. are we going back to the good old days???
peggy ,   UK   (07.13.12)
the bear of Russia, behind arab states and the eagle of the USA with Israel. So far we dont see the USA interfering much, fingers in too many pies, and I certainly hope they dont drag our UK lads and lassies into it. No oil or Ore in Syria, and who knows who is killing who, things can be "doctored" so well these days. Hope they will leave Israel alone or both sides will be in their paradise.
18. #5 mark
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.13.12)
Taking out a Head of State is a tricky business. It could easily start Syria lashing out at the rest of the world. If one country does the taking out it makes that country's Head of State a legitimate target. As you specifically mention Israel, I take it that your comments are directed towards it. Syria (and others) would find it an easy excuse to attack Israel, regardless of what is going on in Syria. And if you are insinuating that Israel is doing everything possible to keep Assad alive, the ‘something very strange’ is your train of thought. I hope I misread your post.
19. Libya redux. US doing nothing about weapons stores.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (07.13.12)
NATO and the US failed to "secure" Libya's weapons stores throughout the conflict. As a result of that negligence, thousands of weapons have "leaked", some already showing up in Gaza. The US is acting like Syria, whose leadership it deems illegitimate, still has a "right" to retain such weaponry. Nonsense. Since there's no guarantee such weaponry will not be used or fall into yet more dangerous hands, priority should be given to their destruction. Surely the US knows how to do it.
20. I can't wait to see ....
J Galt ,   Hidden Valley, USA   (07.13.12)
how "Stretch" Peolsi and her minions (A.K.A. the media) spin the appearance of Sadam's WMDs in Syria as George Bush's fault. Man ... you gotta love it!
21. Death toll approaching 18,000.
Stephen in New York   (07.13.12)
Assad will soon surpass his father’s 30,000 death toll 30 years ago.
22. WMD's & Obama
Belinda ,   Texas, USA   (07.13.12)
Are we talking about the same WMD's that all of the democrats were screaming didn't exist & gave us Obama? I find this interesting given the fact the he didn't have a problem sending troops to Libya, arming them & I believe handing Qaddafi to them. Don't get me wrong, Qaddafi needed to go but when you look at this, the fact that Obama treats Netanyahu like a dog & believes the worlds problems start & end with Israel, then knowing that Syria is moving, what appears to be common knowledge, the "worlds largest stores of WMD", now add to that the "urban area military ops" that are taking place in & around the largest cities in the US. It is NOT normal for people to see military Humvee's driving the streets in the US. It's NOT normal for people to be woke up in the middle of the night with "similated explosions" and military personel repelling from helicopters! Now Obama has no problem bellying up to the UN table to hammer out a "gun trade treaty" that will effectively removed a US citizen's 2nd amendment rights!! I'm not much for conspiracy theories but this is bizzare! Sorry but something is up! Watch your back Israel!!
