3. Anat Kam
shoshieb ,   Migdal, Israel   (07.16.12)
Bullshit!!! she should be charged with treason and should stay forever in jail....
4. The sentence should be life in prison!
Reuven   (07.16.12)
She's a vicious traitor!
5. Reality
michael Pielet ,   israel   (07.16.12)
Both Blau and Kam should have been tried for treason. f found guilty both should have been shot by a firing squad. The only reason they got off, corrupt judiciary.
6. Poor little Anat
keren ,   tzafon israel   (07.16.12)
She should spend the 4 1/2 years thinking about the consequences of her own stupid actions (instead of engaging in a competition of who committed the worst treason). She would swing in almost any other country. Suck it up darling and you'll get through. Hopefully you'll be wiser at the other end.
7. She'll be pardoned by Peres,he always pardons murderers&rapi
ab   (07.16.12)
sts if they're arab ,now he'll use her to show he's impartial and also pardons Jews
8. Scumbags should be treated same as there Al - Queda friends.
Miron ,   USA   (07.16.12)
9. Someone explain it again to the Idiot
Talula ,   Israel   (07.16.12)
She seems to think that handing over secret IDF documents should go without punishment. She got off light! She should have been locked up for so much longer.
10. Anat Kam you are unbelievable ! You
miri ,   israel   (07.16.12)
committed the crime and was given a relatively light sentence. If anything, you deserve to be incarcerated for many, many more years. If I were you, I'd shut my mouth.
11. Ms. Kam isn't like Blau SHE STOLE THE DOCUMENTS!
(07.16.12)
He only received them. Further Ms. Kam isn't like Eli Zeira her theft put many active soldiers at risk and finally IF SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE TIME SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE COMMITTED THE CRIME! (count yourself as lucky young lady you are a traitor in the books of many of us and you should be sitting in jail for far longer than the time you have received)
12. apply all of these comments to Jonathan Pollard
jj   (07.16.12)
particularly the ones calling for a death sentence. now try to qualify that situation.
13. this young woman is a traitor just like Jonathan Pollard....
Jew with Cojones ,   Israel   (07.16.12)
and just like Pollard she should have been prosecuted for treason. and she should have to sit in jail for a long long time.
14. Poor Anat
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (07.16.12)
She should realize she got off lucky and could and should have been sentenced to more time. This little spoilded brat should be tried for treason or how about a little solitary confinement
15. jj Familiar with the Pollard case?,then tell us
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (07.16.12)
tell us exactly what he was convicted for, no not "treason",exactly what he actually did. While you are at it let us know why his defence lawyers who wanted to appeal were not allowed access to the charges? Justice? From plea bargain to life without right of appeal.
16. So ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.16.12)
Ms. Kam wants her sentenced reviewed. I'm all for that. Of course, a sentence review can work two ways. And if her sentence is increased to twenty-five years, she'll probably just whine some more. But that would be a long, strong step towards true justice. She belongs dangling from the end of a rope. Her four and one-half year sentence was a gift. One should not look a gift horse in the mouth. No one buys her "victimhood." She ruined her own life. I take a phenomenal amount of enjoyment in knowing that, with a felony record and prison time, she will never be allowed into the United States. Or into Canada. Or into Australia. Or into New Zealand. Or into most countries which conduct background checks. She can change her name, but she cannot change her fingerprints. She's doomed to remain in Israel for the rest of her miserable life, where she will be forever remembered and reviled. That's almost better than a death sentence.
17. cummon people
Yisraeli   (07.16.12)
ktzat rachmanut, were jews arnt we? im a kahanist and i have rachmanut, why dont you? sure she was wrong, but so were the others and i have no love for lefties but i do have rachmanut, we are not a just people if we dont. think a bit before you kvetch.
18. the disgusting woman is eligible for parol next year anyway
zionist forever   (07.16.12)
That woman is disgusting, she gets off with a slap on the wrist whilst the maximum punishment is 15 years and she is appealing because the other traitor Blau used the argument of free press to scare the judges into doing nothing. She will be eligible for parol this time next year anyway but she is appealing her sentence. Obviously shows she has no regrets at all about what she did only the fact she got caught and was given a slap on the wrist. If the woman had any sense of decency she wouldn't even seek parol let alone to be let out of jail early. I just hope the judges have the courage to tell her lawyer go to hell and let her rot but knowing the left wing nature of the Israeli courts she will probably get her freedom. I imagine once she is released the other party to this crime Haaretz will pay her to write a series of articles about why she and their star reporter were treated like criminals rather than heros. It really wouldn't susprise me if they did that to try have the last laugh.
19. #12 - Pollard didn't endanger US soldiers
William ,   Israel   (07.16.12)
or share secrets with a US enemy. Pollard passed information to Israel (an ally of the US) which the US already promised to share with Israel but reneged on the deal. Now, if you want to speak about Pollard, let's talk about the Russian enemy spies that were caught 2 years ago, and immediately released to Russia in a swap deal. They did way more damage than Pollard. Pollard's incarceration is nothing more than politicking.
20. This is not about Left...
Deena   (07.16.12)
This is about betraying your own country. She should have pay a longer time in prison. And Haaretz should have paid a very large fine. There are limits to everything and all of them were far beyond them.
21. Poor poor Anat
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (07.16.12)
Sitting here reading all the talk backs, we all agree she got off light and should serve a lot more for what she did, so should Tali Fahima. Now, Anat only read all these and see what people really think of her, then maybe she would see what a stupid little girl she is.
22. we could learn alot from the courage of US judges
zionist forever   (07.16.12)
America's Anat Kamm Private Bradley Manning he is now facing the rest of his life behind bars and he is only facing that because the prosecution would not look for the death penalty. Just think if we only had America's courage Kamm would be in jail for the rest of her life and Blau would have got a substantial prison term not community service. Sadly as soon as he mentioned press freedom the judges were scared off, American judges would not be so easily scared.
23. Anat Kamm
Kenfolk ,   Detroit, MI USA   (07.17.12)
The comments to this story show a lynch mob attitude that is disgusting. Kamm, like Bradley Manning, exposed wrongdoing by her country that needed to be exposed. They did this at considerable risk and exhibited great courage. In Kamm's case she showed that the Israeli military was committing war crimes and ignoring decisions by the Supreme Court. She learned the lesson of the Nurenberg trials. She does not deserve the scorn of the Israeli public.
24. treason
FANGS OUT ,   U.S.A.   (07.17.12)
All involved knew What they Were doing was not moral or legal. But none had moral concious . Treason harms the whole country. They all should be terminated as an example of rightous justicia.
