1. The murder of young innocent children in Bulgaria today
Al   (07.18.12)
hurts like hell. The murder of Jewish children sears the soul of those who care. May younger ones not die. The memory of these children should be foremost in the minds of the mourners of this Rabbi. He would have wanted it that way.
2. rabbi
Morris ,   Gateshead   (07.18.12)
Time for haredim to choose a new head to lead them to reconciliation with the seculars, otherwise there trouble a head for the haredim.
3. how will he be remembered?
Ethan ,   Eilat   (07.18.12)
Did he unite like the Rambam by respecting and understanding many worlds or did he divide by respecting his own world to the exclusion of others. RIP
4. Treason
Isaac ,   Mexico   (07.18.12)
I cant express the grief our nation is going through in these moments (the terrorist attack and the passing of a great man). G-d has just showed us how connected we are to eachother therefore enough with the hatred they havnt done anything to us. Can you believe the things your screaming at them are similar to what the nazis use to scream at our ancestors. Am israel hai we are united and that's a fact!
5. Shockwaves?
iselin ,   Oslo, Norway   (07.18.12)
To die at 102 is not exactly enough of a surprise to cause shockwaves for most people. Perhaps his followers expected him to be immortal.
6. Fixated thinker, not a patch on Rav Kook
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (07.19.12)
or Saadia Gaon. who sought to really understand what Torah was telling us and practiced Love Am Yisrael. Leaders such as him are divisive, and have no relationship with the majority of AM Yisrael
7. Very limited article
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (07.19.12)
No mention of his closeness to Rav Kook. No mention that he was related to the Tzadik Arele Levine. No mention of his sons-in-law like Rav Kanievski... He's been ill long enough to prepare a proper obit.
8. 1 Al your Yiddishe Neshume ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (07.19.12)
is indeed intact. Baruh Dayin Emes.
9. to al the lost jew #1 al

learn about your past . we are the chosen nation and are hated by the gentiles. trying to be like them will get you nowhere! live and learn!

Zvi ,   Israel   (07.19.12)
Not appropriate at all, especially during the Beit HaMetzarim period. Regardless of what his politics were (none of which I agreed with), he was a leader. Show some respect. Baruch Dayan Emet.
11. i still have tears in my eyes from yesterday
jerusalem   (07.19.12)
i cant believe it :(
12. How refreshing for the elderly to be respected.
Rivkah   (07.19.12)
How lovely for so many to want to attend an old man's funeral. That is how it should be.
13. WOW!!
Mark ,   jerusalem   (07.19.12)
Ho amazing that Ynet practically managed to not to cover the death of this Torah Giant and his funeral...there was an estimated 300k - 500k people that attended this funeral that started at 10pm and continued until 3 am yet YNet chooses to cover stories about pictures of woman in adds (hoping to encourage hate against charaidim) !! how sad...even the secular papers have no respect :(
14. # 1
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.19.12)
Al the murdered people in Bulgaria, were not children.Their ages were, 44, 28,28,26,25. All five of them were adults. Baruch Dayan Haemet.
15. Birdi..to me they were kids..kids of a mother and a father
Al   (07.20.12)
They were all children of Israel such as you. In these TB we can at times talk crap, but the bottom line is that we are one. Think about it sweetie pie.
