So you admit you are wrong, as you abandon your touting of ‘international law’ [eg international waters and all that garbage] that doesn’t exist?! But don’t forget to turn a blind eye to the members of the UNHRC, from whence comes those countless ‘resolutions’. Oops; you already do that, don’t you?
36.  To 31. Water from Turkey to Israel???
Jusanz77 ,   Vzla.   (07.24.12)
Turkey builds a gigantic project of 22 dams in the headwaters of the Euphrates and the Tigris, which Syria and Iraq would turn into deserts due to lack of water. And what water is to supply Turkey to Israel???. Do not you think that sometimes in life, even to be innocent, it should be a limit.

39. #1 - that is, after our "friends" have insulted Israel
William ,   Israel   (07.24.12)
You're worried about Lieberman's words AFTER Turkey has repeatedly insulted Israel, and involved itself in acts akin to an indirect declaration of war?? One thing I like about Leiberman is that he talks directly and says what needs to be said. Even among friends, some terse words must flow. G-d knows, Israel had received its share of terse words, but we're not the world's b*tch. Lieberman said nothing that wasn't the truth - Turkey erred, Erdogan is cynically using confrontation with Israel to push his own political agenda, and Erdogan demands things that have nothing to do with the disagreement at hand. Sounds a lot like the "Palestinians" as look where it's gotten them.

Australian Navy intercepts illegal immigrants in International waters!! So who are you to lecture us?!?
41. #29 - trying to convolute the discussion, Robert?
William ,   Israel   (07.24.12)
Of course, because you're on the losing side (again). You can't discuss the validity of the Palmer Report because of some other non-binding resolution which both Arabs and Israel rejected. But the fact remains, the Palmer Report which deal specifically with the flotilla issue, supported Israel, both legally and morally. Speaking of selectively quoting - I noticed how you and your ilk quote the UN when convenient to you, but leave out quotes damning the war crimes by "Palestinians" and ignoring the rejection of UN resolutions, etc. by Arabs while stating Israel still has an obligation to them. Since UN resolutions are non-binding and require both sides (usually) to be obligated, there is no issue (except with you) regarding Israel not following them. And a news flash for the impaired Aussie - once Arabs reject a resolution, it becomes null and void as per Israeli obligations. So , end your wet dreams of 1947 Partition Plans and 1967 UN declarations.
42. Israel and Turkey being the strong countries
Mary ,   Cyprus   (07.24.12)
Around the poor M.East should work together for justice and share the gas oils equally and create to our territory piece which under any God of any religion every human being is entitled. Don't ignore small nations but make all children, children of ours living in a just world.. With your power make us feel secure and happy. Normal people is not asking for much but what is included in the human rights. I'm I dreaming? I wish somebody with power could answer me..

I don't have the power to force change in Arab and Moslem mentality, but instead of wringing your hands and uttering meaningless tautologies, don't you think that more could be accomplished by forcing people to recognize that the international community has allowed cancers to grow and thrive in its midst -- Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda, Syria .... and work on eliminating those cancers (here's a hint: making concessions is not the way to go). That said, why should Israel share anything with Turkey? Turkey is edging ever closer to Iran and its policy of ethnic cleansing the Kurds is distasteful to most Israelis. Turkey's policy of denying any wrongdoing with respect to the Armenian genocide is equally distasteful. If they want Israeli natural gas, they can contract for it, just like everyone else.
45. #40 Stating facts is not lecturing and......
Robert ,   Australia   (07.25.12)
.....the Australian Navy does not assault asylum seekers' boats and kill the occupants. Most of the boats actually request the Australian Navy's assistance.
46. #45 robert - Kol hakavod...
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.25.12)
to the Australian Navy! But what "facts" are you stating? None. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Not only is it legal to enforce a blockade in international waters, it is preferred. Israel keeps the blockade in place in strict conformance with international law (the real international law, not the fake one in which you and others profess it to be what you wish, ignoring facts). Nor do you bother to speak out regarding Hamas' disregard for international law (again, the real one) in bombing and killing civilians while hiding behind their own civilians. The act of piracy was committed by the IHH jumping on the IDF soldiers with knives, pipes, etc, as they came on board with fully loaded...paintball guns. If you're going to blatently ignore facts you would do better writing children's books of fairy tales. Your post isn't worth the paper it's printed on...and it isn't even printed on any paper.

Those would be called political refugees & they are not intending to enter illegal territory by force. They have no political intention so they are dealt with diffidently. Now, if these refugees attacked navy sealsl with knives then they would all end up dead like the ones on Marmara. How old are you, 12? Don't compare apple to orange.

There is a saying; if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. What does his job when he was younger have to do with anything here? What do you do for living now? What did you do for living when you went to college? I assume you did go to college or university. Stop insulting and write constructive words or hold your tongue.

All this BS about ethnic cleansing and how Turkey is swaying towards Iran. Don't you get bored? PKK is a cancer too in my opinion but you never mention them in your shabby comments do you 'Miss I hate Turks'? It is distasteful for Turks to watch an ally support that cancer from international media sources like from the BBC for instance. This was way before the 'flotilla game' btw. However, I do hope the ties are restored. I don't think 'rotten apples' from both Israel or Turkey should impede good ties from emerging between both nations.
