Video: IDF officer headbutts Palestinian teen    Yoav Zitun
1. when grappling a headbutt is common practice
hands are busy, potential threat causing trouble? headbutt away. B'tselem needs to crawl back under their rock
jack bauer   (07.26.12)
2. Hate these videos
They never seem to show the whole story. It always jumps to the poor Palestinian getting hit by the nazi-like israeli officer... (I.e. when Eisner hit the person who was carrying a knife before the footage was shown). Shame on you Ynet, either tell the whole story or don't publish at all!!!

3. The most moral army
Even the red army was more respectful

4. Never again give one centimeter of our land to this people!
Israel´s policy must be to make accords with Arabs to take these people out from Israel. Arabia is huge;Israel is tiny.We can not breath the same air.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (07.26.12)
5. typical bull shit useless crap.
ralph   (07.26.12)
6. Necessary Force used to effect arrest
If this happened anywhere else, it would be a routine arrest with minimal force used. Why is this news? The kid was mouthing off and failed to follow a lawful order from IDF or Police. In Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabi, Lebanon, etc...necessary force usually includes a near death beating, torture, or a bullet.

7. OH DEAR !!!!
WELL THE BETSELEM TRAITORS ARE AT IT AGAIN..IWONDER WHY THEY NEVER EVER REPORT THE CONTINUOUS AND BLOODY VIOLENCE EMANATING AND NUTRTURING FROM THE PALESTINIANS. THIS INCIDENT SHOWS THE TOTAL DISPROPORTION IN INFORMATION
sam ,   gibraltar   (07.26.12)
8. The Truth
The IDF behaves worse than any soldiers anywhere, including those in the 1930's to 40's. Shame, Israel, shame! But you don't care what the rest of the world thinks of you. Israel must be isolated.
(07.26.12)
9. Abusing the defenseless/handcuffed by IDF,...
An act of a coward. I wonder how many incidents like this one and worst are not caught on camera ? ,...

12. SAME OLD SAME OLD
Behold an Orwellian justice system: STALKING a civilian woman: A CRIME with the possibility of serving time in prison. Some addled, misguided individuals STALKING Israeli soldiers on duty: No problem! Be our guests! Makes sense, just not on this planet.
David ,   New York, NY   (07.26.12)
13. Too bad for the broken nose
If you were surrounded by Muslim Palestinian animals who would kill you in a NY second, how would you treat them? Don't judge the young Israeli soldiers for being tough. If they werent, there would be no Israel. Screw political correctness.
Richard ,   Boca Raton, USA   (07.26.12)
14. B'Tselem: Slandering the Jews & Israel Daily
Where are the videos of the arabs hurling rocks at Jews? The videos of Arabs torching fields, starting massive fires, destroying personal property, launching rockets, hurling firebombs, pelting police with rocks, pelting cars with rocks and forcing drivers off of the road and sometimes killing them? B'Tselem is a joke and a bunch of monkeys who want nothing but to make money destroying the reputation of others by presenting things in a sick, incomplete context. In short: they partial truths which are 100% lies. Savages should be sued into oblivion for what they do. In the end, they endanger lives, stoke the fires of division and make things worse. Idiots!

16. Then you wonder why...
...Itamar style tragedies happen! The humiliating treatment of Palestinian youth by Israeli soldiers is part of the problem.
Rashid ,   Canada   (07.26.12)
17. B'telem? B'S.
When are we going to get rid of these anti-Jewish, anti-Israeli, pro-terror, pro-anarchy hate filled people who even stage events only to video things like that. Why do we have to see articles like this as if they are justice seeking people. We know exactly what B'telem is, pure and simple, Bull Sh*t!!
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (07.26.12)
18. What is the problem?
I think the fact that this is considered newsworthy is problematic. If a person approaches a policema or soldier and a scuffle ensues, it is a sign that the person did not follow instructions or acted suspisciously. Palestinians have to follow orders. A head butt us certainly not excessive force.
Adam Eliyahu   (07.26.12)
19. directed by b'tselem for pallywood
I always have serious doubts about what appears to be coming from b'tselem. This looks too much like a staged scene. By the way, why is a 17 year old causing trouble in the streets during daytime, he should either be working or studying to contribute to society in a positive way. Or is that an exclusive right to Jewish kids only... I can only disrespect those Pallies with their nagging and retaliations. They simply deserve to be kicked in the butt! Go IDF! Kol hakavod!

22. a headbutted Arab
What a drama! Don't these B'tselem fotographers have a real job to go to? Against the tens of thousands dead civilians in the ''Arab Spring Countries, innocent Israeli vacationairs being murdered in the streets & US movie goers being slaughtered in their own cinema, etc.etc.etc., this bunch of useless & bored Human Right morons can't find anything more important to do with their lives?
tiki ,   belgium   (07.26.12)
23. And yet B'tselem didn't videotape the arsonists this morning
who set fire to Neve Sha'anan and Kiryat Tiv'on.
Jake   (07.26.12)
24. head butt
Palestinians are making and shooting mortars and Kassams daily, leaving bombs whenever they can all over the country and the IDF is charged with safeguarding their citizens as well as possible. This video is so out of context. One thing is apparent, the Palestinian is resisting arrest and not obeying the instructions of the authority. I don't see the IDF officer getting massive back up or using weapons. He is clearing posturing to have the Palestinian cease and desist his resistance. If he did so, he wouldn't get hurt.

26. The officer acted just fine
The Arab clearly wasn't listening to him. I don't understand Hebrew or Arabic but it was obvious that he told the Arab to sit down and the Arab didn't listen.
James ,   USA   (07.26.12)
27. BSALEM ENEMY OF THE JEWS "INFORMERS". I DID NOT SEE HEADBUT
GOOD. WHAT DO YOU THE IDF TO DO WITH ANIMALS/ARABS GIVE THEM CANDY AND BULLETS TO KILL JEWS LIKE LEFTIST SHALOM ACHSHAV, BESELEM?

IT is the way everyone sees IDF posture around the globe, violence against the palestines, and the soldier like an Australophitecus, he don´t know how to solve situations pacifically, he help to boost the bad reputation of the IDF .
