The number of aircraft that can transport a 30K bomb is very limited (there are no missiles that can do it) and the few aircraft are extremely vulnerable to Iranian air defenses. All Iran has to do is shoot a dozen missiles at the plane and one will destroy it. Then there is the whole targeting problem, while the plane is trying to stay in the air, it will have a very hard time ensuring pin-point targeting and a 30K bomb will not have much in the way of control. This is all illusion because these devices NEVER work as planned in the real world. The most likely thing would be the US would kill several thousand innocent Iranians and the massive war in the ME would be on, with the US losing terribly in less than a year.
