4. Mr Radjub exposed in lying to the IOC
PaulZion ,   Israel   (07.29.12)
Is this the "sport should be a bridge of love" that Radjub was talking about in his letter of thanks to the IOC in not holding a minute's silence for the Israel Olympic athletes that were murdered in 1972? No, I will answer for you, it is pure unadulterated hate and prejudice. Now, I hope that these Arab teams Will have to face Israeli athletes. Then they could withdraw and show the world how truly bigoted they are and the Israelis would proceed. So much for the "spirit of the Olympics".

Even the Russians during the cold war would respect American athletes, and Irish athletes respected British athletes. Arabs are showing themselves as weak, childish, immature and destroying any credibility they MIGHT have had.

childish ignorant people say or think, just watch the video and listen to the cheers......didnt hear that when Iran, Syria and Pali entered. Had laugh over that poor Suadi girl..it was a girl yes?? the judo one, will she or wont she wear her shmata!
20. the same way
Borislava ,   Sofia, Bulgaria   (07.29.12)
our commentators suddenly fell silent when palestinian delegation enters the stadium. May not be in the spirit of Olympism (the Olympiad is no place for political emotions and definitely is unprofessional by the commentators), but I'm glad that it was the only delegation not presented
21. Well, what did we expect?
Maor ,   Caracas, Venezuela   (07.29.12)
22. Olympics...seriously no one cares about it at all
Al   (07.30.12)
NBC has paid a boat load of money to broadcast it and they cant get an audience. Its passe my friends..no one cares..
23. Keep politics and religion out of sport
Haim ,   TA   (07.30.12)
24. Israel has to be in the games...
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (07.30.12)
Not because it has such outstanding achievements in athletics but because it provides a perverted "comic relief", i.e.- a "tragic relief" form the routine of the games: Every athlete is either "the son of holocaust survivors" or "a son of Yemenite immigrants who holds a B.A." or just an Arab "who proves that coexistence is the norm in Israel". No one is just "a good athlete" in the land of superlatives and hyperbole.
25. Arabs/Palestinians Afraid of Israeli Olympians
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (07.30.12)
The Arabs/Palestinians will do anything to debase the Israelis. These cowards are afraid of the Israeli Olympians. Instead of engaging them courageously and in a sportsmanship like manner, they choose to propagandize and politicize The Arabs/Palestinians might boycott the Israelis at the 2012 Olympics because they fear being defeated by the far superior and better trained Israeli Olympians.
26. What did we really expect...?
Adam ,   Ramat-Gan   (07.30.12)
That Al Jazeera and everyone else would say, 'Welcome to the Olympics our great Zionist enemy, for the next two weeks or so we are going to treat you as humans!' All because on Israeli TV we didn't stoop to cursing, name-calling, denouncement or aggressive language it doesn't mean that our Arab 'brothers' wouldn't lower themselves to it. Their hatred of us is inbred now and this is why peace is further away than ever.
27. Snub the Arabs
Moshico ,   Jerusalem   (07.30.12)
I remember when Jordon did not show Israel in the eurovision song contest, things have not changed much have they. I suggest if Arab counties have to bring politics into the games they should be snubbed from the games.
28. The real issue is the IOC reaction.
Alan ,   New York, USA   (07.30.12)
Al-Jazeera and the Lebanese judo team did what we all anticipated. The abomination is that the IOC erected a wall between the Lebanese and Israeli teams. Let the Lebanese walk out if they won't compete without regard to politics. That's their right. But the IOC shouldn't cowtow to such bullying. (Not that I'm surprised.)
29. Why do the Olympics aid in this unsportsmanship? A "screen"?
Serge ,   Montreal, Canada   (07.30.12)
I am stunned that, the Lebanese team having offered a show up of ugly unsportsmanship, the Olympic organizers went out of their own to assist this behaviour -- which is contrary to the Olympic principles -- to put up a screen in order to allow athletes from one country to avoid mixing with athletes from another country. I hope that a complaint will be lodged.
30. buckling under the threat
mike north ,   karmiel israel   (07.31.12)
So much with all the hot air of keeping politics out the IOC.Because of racist hatred they erect a screen on the judo mat. You guys are pathetic,,spineless without morals-any nation who refuses to play against another should be sent packing"in the spirit of the game"
