1. Add cheap lines to major destinations...
Yerushalmi ,   Jerusalem   (07.30.12)
...easyjet, ryanair, etc. And add direct seasonal circular sherut like flights to small tourist airports. Like croatian shore, or greek islands. There are direct flights to only few places.
2. Yes indeed but..........
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (07.30.12)
How is El Al supposed to compete with one hand tied behind its back? If they could fly 7 days a week, and not only 6 they would be able to compete properly. It's a complete scandal that they can't. The Jews in New York don't demand that the subway close down on Saturdays do they? This is the 21st century.
3. This is Good News
Tomer ,   IL   (07.30.12)
Why? Because it will bring down prices It will also finish ElAl - a crappy 4th rate company that charges expensive fares. This Loser ailrine deserves to be eliminated from the market ASAP
4. 2Mike Elal has the best security

5. I would visit Israel more often IF ElAl wasnt so expensive

6. El Al is complaining
Roxy ,   Israel   (07.31.12)
El Al is already complaining about the open skies..so then let them lower their prices to compete in the global market.
7. EL AL Needs New Management
David Rosenberg ,   New York, USA   (07.31.12)
EL AL and its inept management should stop complaining and start competing. Since the company was privatized, the benefits offered to frequent fliers have eroded substantially to the point where people are leaving EL AL in droves. Furthermore, EL AL's old airplanes, high fares, and inability to get into an aviation alliance will further erode their already diminishing market share. EL AL desperately needs a new management team which have a vision to overcome these challenges and put the company on the right footing to effectively compete in the global marketplace.
8. to No' 2
sammy ,   israel   (07.31.12)
Come on and get real. They dont ask the subway to close cos its NOT OWNED BY JEWS. The religious have not banned them from flying, they just boycot them if they do. Yes they have the best security but the service does not match the fair. Perhaps now the prices will drop.
