Michael ,   Canada   (07.30.12)
3. Sam , the only stupid here ..
Oleg ,   Israel   (07.30.12)
is your remark..if a person can fly -in from another continent just to have a breakfast and donate a solid sum ..you can call that person anything , but stupid ..stupid people dont get to such position in life, where they can afford to do something like this..
4. Romney wouldn't be a good Israeli
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (07.30.12)
He would be surprised to find that a billionaire father actually DOES NOT mean that your sons and daughters can skip military service. He could be impressed with the world class infrastructure and high level of Israeli science and research, but once he would understand that this is due the fact that Israelis actually PAY THEIR TAXES instead of hiding their wealth in offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands, then well..... Let's face it: Mitt Roney wouldn't be a very good Israeli citizen.
5. romney is a breath of fresh air
david ,   new york   (07.30.12)
he will make a great president.
6. Bravo, Romney! Tell it like it is!
Mark Damon ,   USA   (07.30.12)
Jerusalem has been the capital for 4,000 years of the Jewish Nation. These phoney Bedouin refugees, who nicknamed themselves Pals, sneaked into Israel in the early 1900's , running away from oppressed regimes, as they do daily , from Darfur, etc to this day. Then, they make false claims! Ha!
7. americans are good in hypocrisy
moe shadid ,   jordan   (07.30.12)
all the american presidents saying the same thing to get the jews voters for their interests and starting eulogize israel ...so funny the political hypocrisy ...the world needs a real man not puppets
8. But Romney won't move US embassy to Jerusalem
Tracy W   (07.30.12)
Unless he was disuaded by the Israeli PM who wants to avoid further confrontation with the State Department.. It's a pity. This was the opportunity to have candidate Romney commit himself to REAL recognition of Israel's capital by moving the US embassy to Jerusalem.
9. Mit Romney
Maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (07.30.12)
Romney is not my first choice because he is not conservative enough but he is light years better than Obama for America and Israel. I hope he wins in November or we are in big trouble here.
10. 'Stark difference'
RC ,   USA   (07.30.12)
The only one who had the courage to tell the public that the Palestinians were a made up people was Newt Gingrich. He is not afraid to tell it like it is. He has had the courage to backup Michele Bachmann with her questions on some high position government workers and their possible ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. I hope Romney picks Newt as the Vice President candidate. America is being weakened by the political correct polices of the Obama ultra liberal administration.
11. well now we know y he came twas the money!

Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (07.30.12)
So? He isn't running for office in the Israeli government. Obama probably wouldn't make a very good Swede either but this isn't about government positions in Sweden or Israel.
13. Now that the money is in your pocket
Nora Tel Aviv   (07.31.12)
would you, Mr. Romney, still repeat that Jerualem is the capital of Israel ? If it seems to you that this motto is a real money maker, maybe you should use it very often until you replace Obama. Then....you won`t need to remember such silly promesses to Israelis, would you ?
14. Jerusalem
Iletzter ,   TA- Israel   (07.31.12)
He might not do this bevause of circumstances. But at least he says the words - and claims Jerusalem is Israel's capital. The White House today is even afraid or against uttering such words , since he must placate the Arabs.
15. treason and corruption
hyperbola ,   NY   (07.31.12)
Romney should be arrested and tried for treason and corruption. It is a crime in the US to accept money from foreign donors for political purposes. Americans should take note of this and begin cleaning the sayonim traitors out of our politics, government, media, universities, justice system, ....
16. Historical facts not ignorant outbursts
Norman Vants ,   London UK   (07.31.12)
"Jerusalem has been the capital for 4,000 years of the Jewish Nation. " You are completely deluded. No historian, 'Jewish' or otherwise, would accept that nonsense. Do you really need reminding that Jews did not exist until the 9th Century? What's that? The Hebrews? A totally different people. Check out the DNA studies carried out by Israel.
17. The Two Are Connected Together By An Economic Umbilical Cord
Tim Upham ,   Tum Tum, WA   (07.31.12)
If Governor Romney is such as astute businessman, then he will see that the economies of the Palestinians and Israel are connected to each other by an economic umbilical cord. If the Palestinian economy collapses, it will pull Israel down along with it. If the Palestinians become a nation-state, then they will qualify for assistance from the World Bank. Which is the need for a two-state solution. Strengthening the Palestinians will strengthened Israel. The given is, the two are chained together, and they cannot live without each other.
18. Grovelling
Paul ,   Australia   (07.31.12)
Grovelling before the Chosen, and feeding the victimology beast really pays off I see.
