There will always be haves and have nots so that the haves can be considered better than others. How will all these people get jobs that bring them out of poverty? If water and by extension most food will be stressed, how will the price of these important commodities not skyrocket and make up a large portion of the expenditures of this growing "middle class". This whole report sounds fishy.

With the demand for food increasing by 50%, and no water available, the 1 billion people living on $1 a day will be reduced by 1/2 creating a 50% reduction in poverty and those lucky people who made it into the middle class will immediately start gobbling meat. If you're rich, you should have a much bigger pile of meat on your plate. If you're an "intelligence agent" you're probably making $150,000 a year and can retire at 52 at full pay allowing you many good years of meat eating while collecting your Govt. checks for just watching T V. and golfing occasionally.
