With all the budget cuts amongst the projects the army is considering to save money is not fitting this system into all tanks & armoured vehicles as originally planned after Lebanon. Once again we chose to ignore the lessons learned the hard way if it will save a few extra Shekels.

If Hamas and Islamic Jihad are trying to draw Israel into a broader conflict, why not simply obliterate Gaza? That will put an end to the problem. Or does the IDF think playing kitty-bar-the-door every time terrorist scum decide they want to launch an attack against Israel is a good idea? That is tantamount to allowing Hamas and Islamic Jihad and other terrorist elements to run the IDF. That is a spectacularly stupid thing to do -- they fire a missile, it is a clear act of aggression. Israel has an absolute right to retaliate, and the degree and intensity of the response is entirely up to Israel. The international community of nations has done a lot of nothing with respect to the violence in Syria. That's Israel's bellwether -- 15,000 missiles is enough provocation, don't you think? I believe that warrants a pretty harsh retaliation. You cut off the head of the snake, not its tail. Tails regenerate. Heads do not.

Where are their heads..and where will the shekels go, to satisfy the various protest groups..price supports, govt housing, cottage cheese, pre-nursery schools, the Charedi urge to merge and have more children, w/o any responsibility to their own country, which, BTW, is saving them from another Holocaust by the Arab-Muslim world. Israel will survive as long as it's IDF survives...it's that simple volk.

Hamas is getting weapons from Egypt. They have about 150-160 such anti tank missiles. The problem is that its Obama and Pakistan's ISI which is orchestrating these attacks with the help of alot of retired military persons who are willing to do anything for money. They are hitting the Jews in Europe like in France Lyon and in Bulgaria. Later on the plan was and is to kill FBI agents. The solution is remove Obama. You can't wait till the elections. They have plans for August and September for Romney also apart from U.S senators and congressmen and women who are busy in their lives not thinking the disaster that has resulted in choosing and supporting Obama and playing political chess with a snake like Obama. The Jewish population in U.S is busy in other things rather protecting their country on a military scale while keeping Osama Bin Laden aka Obama in the White House. Time is running out for everyone first in U.S and God forbid later in Israel. Solution is to end the Pakistani government of Zardari and finish the corrupt generals Gen Kiyani and his 15,000 officers and soldiers who are similar to what Hitler was doing in Germany. Along with kicking out President Obama before elections.This is not an extreme solution but the only viable solution. If one behaves like a pigeon and closes her/his eyes to reality the cat is going to attack and eat it. This at the moment is going on in the U.S. Very sad!

It is good to have advanced technology, but the crucial element in winning battles and wars will always be the heart and dedication of the individual soldier. The two most powerful and advanced nations on earth, the USA and the Soviet Union, both lost wars to peasant insurgencies because their enemies had a greater level of commitment. Israel's greatest weapon will always be the dedication of the Israeli soldier to his nation and people. If that is lost, then Israel is lost.
