The police had an error of judgement in that they invited guests to a ceremony who do not listen to women singing and then scheduled women singers. It seems to be an honest mistake on their part and no one except the media made a fuss about it. I doubt that the police would invite an iman on Ramadan with a luncheon with served with ice cold beer. You simply don't invite guests then insult them.
