1. cold war or hot war, but war it is
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (08.05.12)
Why do we fool ourselves into believing that there is no war? Every other day, we are attacked from the Gaza strip. The government there allows terror groups to thrive in contradiction to the UN resolution against state supported terrorism. Like cockroaches, we are going to have to go in and wipe out the whole of them.
2. No prize for guessing the usual useful idiotic spin on this

They are as predicatable as clockwork and half as intelligent.
3. recapture Sinai
Mike ,   Herzilya   (08.05.12)
recapture northern sinai and establish security buffer zones and make it clear that the rest will be taken if more attacks occur in Israel
4. Staying indoors ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.06.12)
... is not an acceptable solution. Israelis should not be told to remain in their own homes or in a secure place. It is obvious that Egypt is either ignoring the fact that the Sinai is being used as a staging area, or tacitly approve of their territory being used as staging place to conduct terrorist attacks against Israel. I suppose the Egyptian government can decide if they wish to sacrifice Egyptians, but they do not have the right to make such decisions about Israelis. It's time to do what we've always known would have to be done -- the Sinai must be taken back. We can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak -- we can flush the open sewer that is Gaza, and create a buffer against Egypt. This will also help control the influx of illegals from Africa. But the imminent threat to Jews living along the border from terrorist groups using the Sinai as a staging area while Egypt simply turns a blind eye is not acceptable. It may very well be a diversion engineered by Iran and its terrorist toadies, but now we have to wonder if Iran has struck some sort of an arrangement with the new Islamist government in Cairo. Well, we can wonder about it, but that does not eliminate the need to do something about it. Israel must strike quickly, thoroughly and must impose as much pain and suffering upon these terrorist groups as is possible. Collateral damage be damned. We will not be trifled with.

You are the one constantly touting the right of Iranians to do whatever they wish. How loyal is that? Are you not aware that the United States and Iran do not maintain diplomatic relations? Have you forgotten (or, for that matter, did you ever know) that Iran invaded the United States by taking over the United States Embassy in Iran in 1979? Don't you know that the United States Embassy in Teheran constituted United States soil? How about the taking of U.S. hostages? Did you approve of that, too? How about the desecration of the corpses of United States servicemen at the hands of Iranian mullahs in the aftermath of the pathetic and failed U.S. attempt to free the hostages in Iran? So much for loyalty .... you are a disgrace. Why not go back to "mother Poland?" You can trumpet your inanities from there; you are a poor excuse for an American. While you're at it, contemplate your extraordinary support for Iranian terrorist toadies. Have you forgotten who killed over 200 Americans in the bombings of the United States Embassy and the Marine Corps. Barracks in Beirut? Have you? Have you? You are truly a poor excuse for an American. Please leave.
