While I "sympathize" (well, not really) with the multitude of problems faced by near-bankrupt Egypt, Morsi had better take necessary steps to secure Egypt's borders. I could care less what happens along the border with Libya, but I do very much care about what happens along the border with Israel. If Morsi cannot handle the problem (I cannot think of a more poorly intellectually equipped person to be a head of state, unless it is Hussein Obama), Israel will do it for him. Morsi had better step lightly. The Egyptian military doesn't much like him to begin with -- and Israel will NOT be shy about securing its border with Egypt. A lot of irons in this fire. But make no mistake -- Israel can roll over the terrorists and, if necessary, Egypt, in no time at all. Might be a fair amount of collateral damage, but who cares? Terrorists are terrorists. Scum. The bedouins of Sinai hate egyptians.In their eyes they are not real arabs and are occupiers. Indeed there are significant ethnic and cultural differences between the two group.
