1. TOTAL MISJUSTICE

I don't care a frig what the ignorant comments say. This is a total misjustice. Hazing goes on at ALL levels in the IDF and just about every officer knows that. Furthermore, it's very rarely dangerous and is really about toughening up our soldiers usually in a fun way. It's obvious that one of the soldiers got too carried away...but that doesn't equate to an intentional case of bodily harm. Certainly to single out no less than 10 really good soldiers is nothing short than offering the proverbial scapegoat. I've met some of these soldiers and know they have far more to offer Israel than all you wimps living in exile finding any excuse not to live in Israel, and find fault wherever possible!
2. Gantz step down, Ben Mucha resign !!

#1 you are obviously not a father. I have three sons in the Idf at the moment all in combat units, one of them in kfir about to finish his service. He has never done this. This is not acceptable and I hope this boys parents sue the army, We have enough enemies waiting to harm us, we do not need to harm each other. It is no wonder most of our bus don't want to serve in combat units. If they cannot earn respect without resorting to torture the rookie soldiers then they need to ret k how this army is run.
3. Hazing what ever you call it it is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I am sick of this maucho MAN thing. a MAN does not inflict but defends. We have enough problems worrying about our boys whilst serving in the army. Worrying if they are late if they have been kidnapped or on the front killed by our enemy. It is NOT acceptable that BULLYING is tolerated by Officers or their subordinates. WHAT is happening in this our ONLY country that we treat boys like this?

I did my basic training in the fall of 1976. It was hard as was necessary, but never a sign of hazing. I also don't remember anyone in our unit complaining about hazing. I wonder if this is a new thing or Was I lucky to serve under good officers
