The FSA & Syrian army are just as brutal as each other only difference is the army has access to more toys than the FSA do. Give the FSA thermobaric weapons and even chemical weapons and they wouldn't hesitate to use them against Assad's people. Both sides are as bad as each other and neither really should be treated as the good guys or the bad guys. Personally I hope that when this is all over and the WMDS & missiles destroyed the FSA will splinter and Syria will have a nice long civil war which is going to keep them out of our hair for a while and stop Israel's loony left from saying lets show the new government we want peace and offer them the Golan ( which a Meretz / Labor coalition would probably do if there is an orderly handover of power ) When the Syrians get their act together and the civil war ends the country will be bankrupt, the army in ruins and no weapons or money to rebuild the army means Israel has nothing to worry about.
