1. Cute Morsi, don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Iranian Hunter   (08.13.12)
Because that same hand can slap you and makes you remember your place. Like a good Morsi. Anyone notices that MB (Justice and Development Party) is the same party that is fighting Assad, ruling in Egypt, ruling in Turkey, semi-ruling in Tunisia, Libya ? Anyone notices many MB members are in the US government ? It seems we need the communist again, for a good purging of islamist. Just like the good old days, invasion of Afghanisthan, that was a great purge. China, Russia MUST stop them in Syria.
2. Jewish Sovereinty @ Jewish Justice
Mike ,   Haifa   (08.13.12)
For over forty years the Egyptian media has been bombarding the Egyptian people with anti-semitic propaganda. No wonder they are so fired up about abrogating the treaty. He society in general and the muslim Brotherhood in particular thirsts for war with Israel because they truly believe they can win this time. Lets give them hell for it. We will get Sinai in the next defensive war and annex it and use its oil and tourism industry. Jewish sovereignty and Jewish Justice.

Abu Jihad ,   Al Quds, Palestine   (08.13.12)
The army coucil in Egypt was weak and lacked any popular support. After all, they were all appointed by Mubabrak exactly because he knew that thay can not pose any threat to him and can allow his son's succession without much resistance. Morsi knew that they had no guts or even a desire to challenge him in a show down on the streets of cairo, he can bring millions of his islamists supporters on the streets if there was even the slightest hint of a mutiny in the army. They aslo knew that and decided to sail into the night, perhaps with some promises that they may be immnune from prosecution for any corruption during the Mubabrak;s era.

ZIMBI ,   NJUSA   (08.14.12)
6. Egypt's Pres.Morsy seizing power
mimi jacques ,   oob,usa   (08.14.12)
Obama himself knew for sure- Pentagon knows Assar too. The coup' d'Morsy happened earlier than most thought- thus also the Sinai Border guards massacre and attempted mayhem in Israel. Now according to Morsy's adviser- Morsey is studying Camp David Accords amendment issue- full control and sovereignty of Sinai Peninsula. Also Morsy falsely cited the UN peacekeepers in Sinai of having been shot at- not true Time is of essence and Romney/Ryan must ask hard questions and transparency now.

comfortable relationship with middle-eastern dictators. US like Israel, is afraid of change in the status quo.
8. #2, "Jewish Justice" is an oxymoron.

9. After the next war, we are keeping Sinai FOR GOOD
Feiglin Supporter ,   Israel   (08.14.12)
The problem with land for peace is that its essentially pure BS!
10. Funny article in some ways
Hussain Amanpour ,   Shiraz,Iran   (08.14.12)
Reasonable anaylsis until you get to this line :has no apparent reason to establish working relations with Israel. One wonder as f the key responsibility of the Egyptian army is how the Israelis writers might think or not think .
11. Summary
AlexB ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.14.12)
Morsi told to F-off to the following people: 1) Hamas (cooling down relationship, closing the border crossing, possibly shutting down the tunnels 2) US (getting rid of their man in the Egyptian military) 3) Israel (getting rid of Israel-friendly military men) 4) Egyptian military (got rid of his main opponents: 2 military chiefs) Thus he has established himself as the boss, the true boss, and the only boss. A true strongman. And while doing so he has signalled via a telegram which he denied he had sent but in Israel they believe he did, that he recognizes Israel, and will maintain cooperation. Looks good to me. Could've been worse.
12. A sensible article
Shalom Freedman ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.14.12)
This is the first sensible article I have seen on this subject. There is the 'nothing has changed' school on one side with their head in the sand . And on the other side Mubarrak's man from Israel Ben- Eliezer is already beating the war drums. This article points to a changing situation for the worse and real danger ahead.
13. Sigh ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.14.12)
We've rolled over Sinai before. Three times, actually. We can do it again. It will be the last time, and if the Egyptians are extremely lucky, we won't take over the Canal. But we can. We've done that before, too.

15. #8-Learn history , moron !!!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (08.14.12)
Israel has and is the most just and moral country in the world, idiot. Show me a democracy that treats all groups better than Israel. Its idiots like you who feed racism because of your jealousy and hate
16. Only RETURN of Sinai (ASAP) can create BALANCE with Egypt.

Jouko ,   Finland   (08.14.12)
18. Good Riddence to Prejudice Egypt: they're NOT friends
INETFRAUD ,   US/IL   (08.15.12)
Egypt spews the most vile hatred against Israel, the Jews, the US, the 'west', etc., but its never reported. Every day on their radio broadcasts they boast an enormous array of hosts who slander the Jews in such horrible ways, if the world took heed for only a moment, they would cease to deal with them in any way. It is one of the most hateful & racist countries on the planet. Its disgusting. The 'brotherhood' is their payback; their karma for being so vile towards Christians, Jews and the west. They deserve what is coming to them and when they fall to hell, the idiots who put these thugs in power will be crying for the 'better days' of Mubarak. Too late now: Egypt sealed its OWN fate.
