Go back to any point in history and you will find that Israel was conqured at times when religious zeal was at it's height at the cost of protecting its citizens. You have your place in society and we have a duty to protect you in order to keep our faith the best way we can or choose, it doesn't make us less Jewish as it doesn't make you more.

I made two phone calls. Turns out 114 of the asylum seekers are Arab. Thought you might want to know.

You think having Israel known as threatening death to its minorities so they have to seek asylum in other countries is a good thing? You want Israel to do to its Arabs what Islamic countries have done, and are doing, to Jews and Christians? But hey, it's working in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, etc so why not do it here?

populations. We give all 22 Arab countries our Arabs and they give us all their Jews. Sounds fair AND reasonable, and ultimately WILL HAPPEN, despite all the frenzied and wild screaming of the poor sick left!!! Additionally, ANYBODY, Jew or Arab, who wants to forsake Israel, give up their citizenship and go claim "refugee" status somewhere else... I say: LET THEM GO!!!

If prayer is the greatest protective shield, what about the Shoa, pogroms, etc? HaShem helps a moving vessel. The IDF can handle the defense of the country. Scandals, as bad as they might be, prove that we are human, like anyone else. Remember: "chosen" means we are delegated to spread HaShem's words, the Ten Commandments, NOT that we are better than anyone else.

Prayer may have power; that would be displayed by facts on the ground. What I see from the prayerful community is massive povert in Lakewood NJ, Brooklyn, Monsey NY. Resulting in the prayers transforming themselves into Master Leeches who eat at the expense of taxpayers. Israel needs prayer that SUCCEEDS. Yours don't.

shut the hell up. To presume such BS in writing only proves a bigotry beyond stupidity. Do you think that somehow only you knows what's best for Israel or America? And to try and speak for G-d is beneath blasphemy. To which presumptuous cult do you belong? Please state so we may all avoid it and you like we would the plague.

If I may.. No one argues that prayer isn't extremely important - what they object to is, that no one should make a profession or a living from prayer or refusing to serve as do all israeli's in the IDF Israel with the reasoning being 'prayer' and Torah study. ( this is to insinuate that every parent or relative of a soldier serving in the IDF has not prayed and that somehow, magically, only THEIR prayers are heard , what is this, another form of "Animal Farm" for the 'religious?) FYI, Judaism isn't the same as the original. There are no Levite Priests, there are no sons of Aaron, ( they replaced by "Rabbi's ) there is no blood sacrifice of 'unblemished animals", ( that also was substituted by "Prayer" ) And, on one subject we agree, the IDF isn't 'handling the defense of the country alone". However, you failed to recognize the obvious, "He never slumbers or sleeps he who watches over Israel." Our G-d dwells in Zion.
