The ruling of the High Court stated that Zentai cannot be extradited since there was no "war crime" in the statutes in 1944.
Since there were no "war crimes" before the post-war Nuremberg trials, Australia's High Court declared its intention to prevent the extradition of ANY Nazi war criminals.
