the academic society of SA appears to be be blind to the facts of the middle east where palestinian arabs have refused to accept peace on any terms except complete destruction of israel and all the jews being killed. I completely agree with your post.The following advances have been made by Arab Israelis since independence:acting president of the Jewish State; speaker of the Knesset;3 who became generals in the IDF; members of the Knesset; member of the supreme court(as you mentioned in the high court);members of the diplomatic corps,including ambassadors and consuls; members of the IDF,including officers; and others holding responsible positions in the government, and emergency and law enforcement personnel. I graduated there and believe me the SRC is dominated by the Muslim Students Association and by the Palestine Solidarity Committee. The one leader of that committee failed 3 years in a row in three different faculties he studied in. His main purpose obviously not being to study. Propaganda around the clock including a wall that bared statement in marker saying kill all the jews.

These students know there is no apartheid in Israel.They students could boycott the Palestinians for refusing to recognize the Jewish right to independence and over 3000 years of Jewish history in Israel, predating Arabs by 1800 years. They could boycott them for the suicide bombings and other terror and for firing hundreds of missiles into Israel every year since 2001. But they won't because for them it feels good to hate the Jews and the Jewish state.
