31. #2 Who is stomping
Zoe ,   Los Angeles/ Israel   (09.05.12)
their feet? This is a news item available on Yahoo news, Drudge report, CNN, FOX etc. This is a fact, news, nothing else, stop hating yourself, get help.
32. #2 you are absolutely right!
Baruch ,   Israel/Houston   (09.05.12)
Romney and his religious and racist fanatics will do anything to sell the US its vote. Build walls against commerce with the south, evesdrop on women and their physician, and offer a candidacy based upon division, hate, and whining. We are not a lap dog for the US. Nor are we going to go the way of Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Korea, Afganastan, Iran, Sudan, Croatia, and every other half assed war they want. Israel is not for sale, our people will not become the Americans' favorite enemy--civilian casualites, and we are not in need of guidance from people who can not even govern their own nation. We are not here to base their so called troops the next time their economy needs a war. America Jews should vote as they like. As for Jerusalem, we will resolve that issue here in Israel with our neighbors all by ourselves, without benefit of condescending lectures from American so called leaders. On the other hand, we would welcome Romey to deposit some of his money in our banks or the TA Stock Market.
33. Obama
Ross Gallen ,   Henderson, USA   (09.05.12)
Once more Obama has shown in clear and uncertain terms that he is no friend of Israel or the Jewish People. I hope we vote him out of office. He has done everything to cow tow to the Arabs. He has done nothing for the American economy. Our foreign policy is an inconsistent mess. Friends and allies have been turned on their head. We cannot afford another four years. Mitt Romney offers friendship and loyalty. He is pragmatic and he does not have a socialist agenda. He knows who has been an historical friend of the United States, and who shares our values. He will restore the good relationship that existed before Obama. Jewish people should not be deceived by the left wing political hacks who only have their own self interest at heart.
34. The mistake of 08 will be vehemently rectified in November.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.05.12)
The Obama Democrats would deserve some respect if they admitted they were abandoning Israel. However, they abandon Israel and pretend they aren't!! The Obama Democrats are evil liars. Obama has no business occupying the White House. Hopefully, the mistake of 08 will be vehemently rectified in November.
35. Obama and his lefty advisers want Israel at 1967 borders
Sam ,   Canada   (09.05.12)
Obama and his lefty advisers will tell us glowingly how much they love and support Israel and that nobody does more. In truth, they want Israel at the 1967 borders so as to appease the Palestinians and other Arabs and Muslims. The Palestinians want that plus a right of return into Israel proper. (all of Israel) The Palestinians don't mind taking the first part first if handed to them on a silver platter which Obama and the other Western appeasers would so willingly give them if Israel would only cooperate.
36. Obama has dropped ISRAEL from his
Israeli 2   (09.05.12)
agenda since his Inauguration. Let's drop Obama.
37. #2
Harold ,   USA   (09.05.12)
The US taxpayers accept what you are saying because they are fed-up paying welfare to a spoiled teenager
38. #1
Harold ,   USA   (09.05.12)
Tell me the name of one US President who said Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. NONE.
39. 2. I am a Jew and an American! I have the right to
(09.05.12)
care about what my president's stand is on Israel! Don't Mexicans, Irish, Germans, and so forth have the right to care? Well so do I dammit and I REFUSE to be shamed or demonized for it!!!!!
40. Always us position
Joe ,   Detroit usa   (09.05.12)
Agree
41. False. The Platform says differently
Abe Froman ,   NY, NY   (09.05.12)
From the Platform: "Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel." Is Ynet just making things up now? It took all of 20 seconds to google "Jerusalem" in the document. Whether or not Jerusalem is United or not is up to the Israelis. http://www.democrats.org/about/party_platform
42. To hell with the World
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (09.05.12)
If Obama keeps this up he will force a war on Iran by backing Israel to the corner.
43. How about dropping Obama
Ish Kabibble ,   Delancey   (09.05.12)
through a platform?
44. no surprise here
Galut ia ,   selah   (09.05.12)
Obama promised the Arabs and Russia that he would be more forceful with Israel if he was re-elected .... Hope Jewish voters in america are paying attention !
45. Obama is finished in FL I feel betrayed
Richard S ,   Miami USA   (09.05.12)
Vote anyone but Obama....
46. Minority Majority Maccabees
The Prophetess ,   FL, USA   (09.05.12)
It is amusing that for thousands of years, we, the tiny-minority population of Hebrews, have driven the gentiles mad with anger, angst, doubt, guilt, political shenanigans, and over all B.S. This is just another election cycle and another handful of dusty promises. Ed, regretfully, a vast percentage of the Reform and "enlightened" Jews who voted for Obama, have re-plastered their bumpers with O '12 stickers. And EZ, you are also correct: Eretz Yisrael and Jews Worldwide must return to the heritage of Judah Maccabee. Am Yisrael Chai.
47. And finally..
Elie Abitbol ,   Canada   (09.05.12)
And finally the real Obama ! " If I forget thee Jerusalem, may... " Let this be a reminder to all American Jews when casting their vote..
48. Jerusalem, the undivided, eternal capital of Israel...
DShap ,   Miami, USA   (09.05.12)
Israel The Nation State of The Jewish People. What other country, has it's capital unrecognized by other nations? Israel should annex all of Jerusalem, toss the Mufti out on his proverbial can, and tell all other nations that the only place in Israel for, foreign embassies,to,be located,is,in Jerusalem.
49. Don't bet on it, #24
Vlad   (09.05.12)
Israel is a position where it is economically and militarily self-sufficient. Even if Obama cuts off aid, Israel will be able to function quite effectively. And believe me, Russia, China, and India don't give enough a shit about the Palestinians to sanction Israel, one the top military suppliers and trading partners of all three, and the EU is too broke to sanction Israel, a major trading partner, over the Palestinians. There will be no return to 1967 borders, no matter how much Obama pouts and shouts. All he will succeed in doing is alienating not only Israel, but many Arab governments, who are covert allies and security partners of Israel, and covertly hostile to the Palestinians, and who would be publicly overjoyed but privately appalled if Obama tried to force the creation of a Palestinian state. Believe me, if Obama tries to force the Palestinian issue in a second term, he'll not only fail, but he'll leave the United States without a single friend in the immediate region by the time his second term is up.
50. Let’s be reasonable, guys.
Dossam ,   Boston   (09.05.12)
Obama will get another term and the Middle East map will change for good. If you want to try anything against Iran (not recommended!) you’ll have to do it yourselves alone. No help from others. Nobody wants to die for you anymore!
51. Liar liar
Ralph ,   carsarea   (09.05.12)
He said exactly the opposite 4 years ago!!!
52. To EZ
zbrk ,   Israel/FL   (09.05.12)
You make only one factual statement (the sentence that begins "NO politician . . .". The rest is polemic. If you look at the underlying article, all it really does is tell Jews (and especially those with dual citizenship), that the democrat party has "officially" determined that they will no longer have an obligation (if a plank in a party's platform still remains an obligation) to support the position of previous American political parties with regard to Israel. Vacuous words from Mr. Obama (I've got your back) conflict with those from General Dempsey (the U.S. will not back--be "complicit" with Israel if it defends itself against Iran), leaving the reader or listener to decide how they should be interpreted. The article simply tells Jews who vote in the U.S. to consider whether the progression in the democrat party from occasional ignorance of their own previous platform positions regarding Israel, to total elimination thereof, might be just one of all the facts to consider when they vote in the 2012 elections.
53. To #41 Its not fake
Jon ,   UK   (09.05.12)
read page 41/59 "The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths."
54. #13 as stupid as Sarah Palin
Nina ,   NYC   (09.05.12)
Iran hasn't threatened ANY military action against Israel, let alone a nuclear bomb. You brainless buffoon. If you disagree, give us a link.
55. Jews with gentile children support Obama
avi ,   nyc   (09.05.12)
Intermarried Jews with gentile kids or grandkids are Obamas core Jewish constituency, They care little for Israel
56. To #2 and Obama
Mike S ,   Phoenix, USA   (09.05.12)
You both get my vote! Cheers
57. Hussein Obama
Sarah B. ,   U.S.A./Israel   (09.05.12)
I have said many times that time has come to look for another ally and partner. Nowadays, we have more values to share with, say, India or China than with the US. We need security and the US can no longer provide that to us. I simply propose freezing relations with the US and warming up ties with new world leaders as India, China, Brazil.
58. to48
nuha ,   jerusalem   (09.05.12)
theoriticaly evryone can see the capital of the others by his own eyes but realy he feels his capital by his mind . so jerusalem is my capital
59. What will it take for US Jews to wake up?
maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (09.05.12)
The Dems have abandoned Israel and I hope they will be cursed for it. America is lost if we re-elect Obama.
60. If true he lost my vote.
Abella ,   florida usa   (09.05.12)
I think the platform is self explanatory. No explanations needed. When a president has to explain what he meant, it's not good.
