Think, what a grandieuse economic succes Iran achieved. It will be the first country of the world, where every citizens including goat sheperds will be multibillionaires. In riyals , of course.
5. If China's and India's economies are slowing down then
Tzila ,   Modiin, Israel   (09.05.12)
of course, these countries, which happens to be Iran's biggest customers, would be purchasing less. So the argument of sanctions are working seem to be false.
6. Iran have problem selling Oil
QUDS AL YAHUDI ,   Tehran/Isfahan   (09.05.12)

7. New tactic
Savid ,   Israel   (09.05.12)
Ahmadinejad is trying to save time by giving hand to Obama to win the elections. This is a wise trap but Israel won't buy it. Now we will soon start hearing from Obama saying; ''sanctions are helpfull''
8. Another story designed
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.05.12)
to disguise the fact that despite Netanyahu's frankly blood curdling threats Iran is still enriching Uranium to as much as 40% and installing more centrifuges to enable breakout at a time of it's choosing. The worse case scenerio for Israel, and Netanyahu, as Israel will not be able to afford the cost of maintaining a 2nd strike option. Which is of course why the Iranians are doing this, they have learnt the lessons of how Ronald Reagan defeated the former Soviet Union.
9. He better hope that Romney is
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (09.05.12)
not elected, otherwise they will be selling oil to each other instead. Romney's energy plan, if elected and used, is supposed to have the US energy free by 2020. I hope it does come to fruition and we get off the Oil Teet.
10. Bit of a turnround
Tim ,   Brighton   (09.05.12)
When all this time AhMADinejad has insisted that it hasnt has any affact at all! So whos bluffing and why the sudden change of position? The best clues are found in Social Networking from insiders in Iran who say There are Petrol shortages, delays in payment of some Public Service Wages, shortages of some food, galloping inflation, no more infrastructure spending sanctioned..with money diiverted as priority in full to satisfy the Nuclear Programme, Military Spending and Syria and Hezbollah Given all this AhMADinejad can hardly fool the public any longer so has to admit sanctions are biting and blame it all on the US the West and the Zionists Which will be his trigger for seizure of the Hormuz What a way to run a country! That man is quite clearly STARK RAVING BONKERS
11. What a nice pre-election push ...
dapperdanman ,   Karlovy Vary, CZ   (09.05.12)
Oh, not only Bibi thinks sanctions don't work, even the mullahs do, so they decided to give Obama a pre-election boost, feeling obviously he's got troubles to sell the "sanctions-do-work" PR campaign to the IQ-over-77-audiences, showing openly where their preferences lie concerning the potential Obama reload. So - not only do american Jews think he's a blessing, the mullahs think that too! Isn't that touching?
12. So WHAT ? BOMB...BOMB...BOMB Iran !

William ,   Israel   (09.05.12)
Didn't Khomenei just report that Iran is freely selling oil and experiencing NO problems from the sanctions? Who's he trying to convince - the West, the domestic population who is unemployed and starving, or himself?
16. #8 Iran funds nuclear program with oil sales
Cynthia ,   USA   (09.05.12)
Londonistan should be equally worried. You're not immune. Netanyahu is doing what he needs to do to protect Israel from genocide threats from Iran. Sanctions represent a non-violent approach to clipping the regimes' wings. Apologists like you should appreciate them and be glad someone has the cohones to deal with Iran. The regime has lost billions of dollars in oil revenues due to sanctions. The sanctions need to be more comprehensive and severe.
