1. Communications on 9/11
Thomas Johnson ,   Columbia, SC, USA   (05.26.13)
Your web ad claims that superior cell phone/radio connectivity was the main factor that saving many New York City policemen from death on 9/11 - while NYC firemen died by the hundreds because they did not hear an order to evacuate the twin towers. I don't believe that there was any significant difference in the comm equipment used by NYC police and fire units on 9/11/2001. Both groups were required to use NYC contracts for outdated Motorola radios. Also, a major upgrade attempt with new Motorola hardware had recently failed in extended acceptance tests and had been cancelled - meaning a return to the old units. More policemen survived mainly because far fewer police (than fire) had ascended to upper floors of the towers in the first place. And I am VERY surprised to hear about this "police helicopter" that warned their forces that the tower(s) were about to collapse! There has been no claim like this in any of the 9/11 reports in the USA. How could they have even known that the towers were about to collapse? The towers were not leaning or swaying at all, following the initial collisions. And there had never before 9/11 been any steel-framed building collapses due to fire - so why would anyone expect this on 9/11? Unless they had some sort of secret "inside" information?? A U.S. B-24 bomber airplane had accidentally crashed in fog, into the Empire State Bldg in 1945 and it did not collapse. Similar skyscrapers around the world have burned even more intensely, and for many more hours than on 9/11 - with none of them falling. Why do you mention these "other American agencies", when you apparently cannot (or don't want to) reveal the identity of said agencies? What "selling point" can this claim possibly establish? Perhaps, that your company is "good with secrets"? Or, that "yes you can" possibly reveal such info, but only to your well established "paying" customers? Is this the implied enticement ;-)
