1. sue whom?
shifra ,   los angeles   (09.13.12)
why doesn't she want to sue the murderers??? ridiculous.
2. Freedom of Speech
Susie ,   Nitzan, Israel   (09.13.12)
As outrageous and offensive as the movie might be, there is no justification for the rioting and carnage that ensued. When artists offend deeply religious Christians or Jews, it is considered free speech and freedom of expression. This movie is no different and to apologize for it is wrong. I am sorry if the crew was misled, but they and the movie makers are not the criminals here. The murderers and rioters are the criminals.
3. Wheres Israeli S Bacille&30Jewish film backers?Usual BS!

4. A film should not be an excuse to commit murder.
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (09.13.12)
Muslim fanaticism has to be confronted.
5. Movie is a load of crap
Larry ,   Raanana   (09.13.12)
Only an imbecile would get angry over it
6. blame yourselves ! ?
Andy ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
" "We have people dead because of a movie I was in. It makes me sick," she said." How ridiculous - the movie you were in caused people (animals) to go and murder. If this is in the name of Islam - then Islam is nothing but an animal circus.
7. freedom of idiocy
Micha ,   Berlin   (09.13.12)
The movie is a poor and idiotic amateur work designed on purpose to spread hate between people. Abusing the actors for that makes it only worse, as does blaming fictional "Israelis" for making it. And still, the world -including muslims- has to live with it. Free speech is a basic and universal right everywhere on the planet and it includes bad jokes about other people's idols. Muslims must (and, eventually will) learn that their religion won't implode just because someone says their "prophet" was a bad guy (what, seen through 21st century eyes, is probably true). Islam is neither superior nor inferior to other religions, and critizising/satirizing it is no taboo. I don't care for this crap video. But i wish that the South Park Muhammad episodes will be aired uncensored. I wish that muslims understand that their religous rules don't apply to us. And i wish we won't ever bow again to violence or threats. Thank you.
8.  the real crime is the acting..
liz ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
This movie is such a turkey I can barely watch more than 1 minute of it.. incredibly bad acting!!!!
9. What CRAP!!! The film is only an excuse
Netanya ,   Netanya   (09.13.12)
This was a celebration for 9/11...nothing more. T his woman should wake up and know that those who are killing Americans would do it anyway, especially now when one of Al-Qaeda's main leaders was taken down. Everyone in the film is a crappy actor and I don't think anyone with half a brain could watch this piece of shit. I would like to be paid for the 14 minutes of my life I spent watching the trailer. I think this actress knows that she will never get a job, since her acting is such crap, elementary school children are better actors than anyone in this film
10. freedom of speech?
ahmed ,   london   (09.13.12)
Or is it bigoted, racially-oriented, Islamophobic incitement? Much more subtle nuances have been labelled anti-semitism by Jewish communities and foundations - a full-blown movie of this racist proportion would never be allowed. Some are quick to point to the anti-Semitism of al manar, when they aired the television series regarding the anti-semitic depiction of jews eating children and all that nonsense. Everyone was right to attack them for their clear anti-semitism and the US cited this as one of their main excuses in disallowing it to broadcast in the US - i.e. racism and inciting violence. So this 'movie' is now being defended by some of the same people who are outraged at al manar as being free speech. These double standards make free speech look like a sinister ploy at worst and a gimmick at best. Stop speaking of freedom of speech when you have no idea what it i, what it stands for, and especially if you do not understand the concept of rights - and thus the limit to what could be considered free speech.
11. #10 ahmed
yosef ,   williamsburg US   (09.13.12)
I honestly am not a huge supporter of the modern state and zionism but Jews did not go on rampages and KILL OTHER PEOPLE and destroy property when muslim countries have repeatedly shown very anti-semitic films, movies, writings, journalism etc.
12. #10 freedom of speech?
Mimi   (09.13.12)
Ahmed: whose freedom? Muslims are allowed to insult, kil,l maim for religion- we are not even allowed to speak ? When it comes to religion, Islam is the most backward and intolerant religion of all- bar none.
13. Muslims today are full of empty barrel
emmanuel ,   nigeria   (09.13.12)
that makes a loud noise,if u are righteous u shouldn't worry about what people says to u.d film is not worth all this if you are a peaceful religion.then the film maker is correct about you people
14. To do nothing is the best policy
Ehud Barak ,   Western Al-Quds   (09.13.12)
But, if I must, due to extreme public pressure, I might pretend to do something, something little and inefficacious. However, never never will I hurt you dear Arab friends, no matter what you do. Love, Uncle Ehud
15. Religion-based movies are as fake as their sources.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.13.12)
What a shame the mob killed our ambassador and embassy workers in Benghazi. May they rest in peace. Even more shame it was over an idiotic movie. Movies based on religious stories are an extension of baseless legends, based on ancient imaginations. So what else is new or surprising to this and other actors, from Charlton Heston (in Ben Hur) to Mel Gibson? If this actress was misled, she has the right to sue, along with her partners. But editing is part of any movie, as is dubbing of voices, so she should have known to expect changes in the final "product" from what she acted out.
16. anti islamic bull cr-p
arne ,   chicag usa   (09.13.12)
truth be known, these people need the strong arm of a dictator. not one country in the islamic world is capable of self government. saddam went down, gadaffi and mubarak bit the dust and sorry to say when assad goes the animals in syria will tear the joint apart. best we not take sides and stay the hell on the sidelines. eventually they'll kill one another
17. murder of us ambassador
freida ,   Brazil   (09.13.12)
these muslim would kill anyway. that's all they know. Imagene if jews would go murdering people for each movie, newspaper, magazine ,tv, journalist ...that potrait jews and Israel in a bad way. jews never had the right to retaliate
18. I think Muslims are most to blame for "intention" of film
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
For all intents and purposes, the film looks like something from Saturday Night Live. Amateurish skits. It was Muslims who tied the intention of "insult to Muhammed" and "war against Islam" to it. But they also dubbed the Muhammed cartoons by the Danish artist, and Swiss law against minarets, as well. Had no Muslim protests erupted (and I know even G-d would have a tough time pulling that one off), this film would have come and passed without much notice.
19. #6 - so I guess Jodie Foster should be sick to her stomach
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
For her role in Taxi Driver, which caused an obsession by John Hinkley who ultimately committed murder. Movies don't kill people, people kill people and most rarely need justification in doing so.
20. Misled?
Ayelet HaShachar ,   Maale Adummim   (09.13.12)
As a former freelance musician, it sounds more like,"A gig is a gig." I've had friends play for Farrakhan events. BTW, the film, as disgusting as it is, is NOT why people are dead. People are dead because other people know nothing of freedom of speech or tolerance. Notice that a video depicting the 9/11 bombers was released by al-Qaeda. My 'feelings are hurt.' So, am I supposed to go on a killing spree now? The diff is that the al-Qaeda video represents a lot more people's sentiments. No one in the US would have known about this if those animals hadn't attacked the embassies. Finally, the film was just a pretense. It was 9/11. al-Qaeda was celebrating with a lot of other Muslims.
21. #15 - more and more evidence shows violence not related
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
to the movie which has been around for 6 months already. It looks like a planned attack by an extremist group, in a city awash with weapons, and just waiting for an opportunity. It's the same thing with the PLO in 2000 when Sharon walked on the Temple Mount and "sparked the Intifada". It was already in the works, only a catalyst was needed by Arafat.
22. #10 - I DO consider Al-Manar to be a racist media outlet
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
They spend their entire broadcast day dehumanizing Israelis and Jews, inciting to violence against Israel and Jews, and bolstering the view of Shia Islam (even over Sunni Islam) worldwide. In Europe, that's a crime which is why many nations there blocked its broadcast in their countries. This is ONE short film, not one broadcast outlet aired it, and had Muslims NOT reacted violently to it, it would have passed unnoticed.
23. film
