1. The idiot Obama adminstration
sk ,   USA   (09.13.12)
She throws our 30 year friend and ally Mubarak to the dogs, proudly proclaiming that Tahir square demonstrators should lead the way, she continues Obama's pathetic policy of appeasement and apologies while the Jihadists laugh at the USA for being so cowardly despite being a superpower. Shut up — enough from this weak clueless US administration only in power for politics and personal gain, and gain to the unproductive, offensive and destructive labor and public sector unions!
2. that sums it up !!
Paul ,   Israel/UK   (09.13.12)
Well said !!!! I don't know what it is with arabs that they justify violence with every little thing and make it blasphemy .... Jesus has been displayed controversially but did you see Christians killing people or did the vatican launch an operation to prevent this? no .. I guess that distinguishes the West from Arab countries where Stoning and Hanging is still publicly accepted .... Not to mention woman's rights (although Israel has still to learn a lot about this, at least the Haredim) So the world should not only prevent Iran's Nuke program but also Palestinians from achieving a state. it would only another lunatic state to deal with .....
3. history is repeating
daniela ,   panama   (09.13.12)
itself... it seems that a few years ago, with another democrat president (Jimmy Carter) we had the same kind of situation, in which the US disposed of a friend in Iran to give place to what was supposed to be a democracy and it ended with the american embassy by the same of people that stands in power today in Teheran... welcome to Islam! When are you going to learn from past experiences????
4. Well Said #1
Daniel Shamooelian ,   usa   (09.13.12)
5. Its not the film
J1 ,   Earth   (09.13.12)
The problem is with Chairman Obamas' MidEast policy. What a failure.
6. No. 1 sk
NYC Girl   (09.13.12)
Also, let's not forget it was Hillary Clinton who put the administration's imprimatur on the Assad regime when she said Bashar had the potential to be a "reformer." And we know how that turned out.
7. excellent statement by Clinton
avramele   (09.13.12)
Lieberman should learn something about how a real Foreign Minister is supposed to act and speak. Bibi of course is unteachable.
8. Muslims can'denigrate a great religion and provoke rage'
Alan ,   SA   (09.13.12)
They areallowed to make endless films about rubbishing the Jewish Religion (forget about the Anti Israel or Anti zionist thing they also have!) Clinton must also tell THEM to stop their denigrations of Jews...
9. US had nothing to do with film
joe ,   uk   (09.13.12)

arne ,   chicago usa   (09.13.12)
couldn't have said it better.they are and have been an embarrasment to our country and what's worse is that we voted them in (not me) but WE.
11. Why apologize?!
Joe ,   Toronto, Canada   (09.13.12)
These riotors and those who murdered innocent Americans deserve no apology. They hate America, Israel and the rest of the free world, plain and simple. This concocted event is just an excuse for their venomous hatred.
12. The Moslems portray Jews as descendents
Lioness ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
of monkeys and pigs........but thats Ok. Right.
13. ME state sponsored official denigration of judaism and christianity all the time
(09.13.12)
Either what's good for the goose is good for the gander or there is freedom of speech. Can't have it one way!
14. Hillary
Aaron ,   Toronto,Canada   (09.13.12)
Hillary and the democratic party really sick people who think by appeasing the Muslims they will hate the US any less. These people are bred to hate the west and any democratic country.
15. Idiots like this should not be running the world.........
Really scary!! ,   UK   (09.13.12)
Don't they make them take a class about Islam before they qualify to head the state department? Or does she only rely on what her Muslim secretary tells her about the "great and peaceful" religion of Islam?
16. 9They can burn our sacred flags but if 1 page of a Koran is
Alan ,   SA   (09.13.12)
creased or damaged even in good faith / by accident ... eg those GIs in Iraq.recently..they burn whole citiesdown and murder who they accuse and deem to be guilty (whether or not so.)
17. What a pathetic administration...
Malone ,   Hfx   (09.13.12)
...It's mind boggling that the "gimmedats" are still so close in the polls, although I suspect the polls are flawed. Surely the American people are over their "American Idol" moment of 2008. I hope so,for the sake of the world. Grovelling, appeasing, apologizing does not work.Peace will eventually come through strength,if the USA can get someone with a spine to run things.
18. #1 & #3 - What are you talking about?
Barry ,   Boston   (09.13.12)
Exactly how was the US supposed to save Mubarek and the shah? Would making statements of support keep them in power? Would sending helicopter gunships in to mow down protesters work better? Come on. Get real.
19. Barry #18: let me explain
Steve   (09.13.12)
President Mubarak, albeit he was a dictator, was a US ally and he generally kept the peace in Egypt and with Egypt's neighbors. Under Mubarak the Muslim Brotherhood was banned as a party because it is a jihad / shariah compliant, exporter of terror and an enemy of America and Israel. Mubarak wanted to transition; he wanted a peaceful transition to a suitable successor but Obama would have none of that. Obama demanded that Mubarak step down "immediately." Obama helped his Muslim Brotherhood friends whom he invited to his June 2009 speech at al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. Obama went over the head of Mubarak. Obama betrays allies while giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Obama has been courting these MB extremists here in the US and in Egypt. Obama aided al-Qaeda of North Africa in the overthrow of Gaddafi. Who do you think murdered our ambassador to Libya?
20. Great religion? Apologies?
Markus Valiant ,   Stockholm Sweden   (09.13.12)
No it's not a great religion, and no apologies should be offered. To the contrary. They are the ones who need to apologize. Nay, that is not enough. Those who committed these murders, including any backing organization shall be hunted down and made to pay for their crimes.
21. Religion
Benny Medlen ,   Huntsville ala   (09.13.12)
If this had been about Christians nothing would have been said about it. This administration seems to hate christians and Israel. I will bless them that bless the and curse them that curse the.
22. The U.S. is not an "Ugly American." Great words Hillary.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.13.12)
All those commentators who agree with #1 and views like this are speaking rubbish. As Hillary said, the U.S. cannot control views opposing its policies or criticizing religions and anything else within the freedom of speech limitations. The U.S. was depicted in the film "Ugly American" as perpetrator of rebellions which served its purposes, but Hillary Clinton is demolishing this kind of an accusation. The U.S. is a "Beautiful American" and Hillary is beautiful also. She would have been a great president, and she still may become one.
23. #18
(09.13.12)
Mubarak: support him so he could institute reforms and retire in dignity. Not spread propaganda that all Egyptians hated him, when in fact at most half did. Shah: Threaten the French if they kept encouraging Khomeini. Not spread false anti-Shah Islamist propaganda, but declare you are working with him to improve human rights. Alternatively, you could have propped either of them up like Obama did in Bahrain or Saudi Arabia.
24. The right to be angry.
Jusanz77. ,   Vzla.   (09.13.12)
Rare outlook on life. A film that they think is offensive against Islam. What gives handsfree: violating embassies, burning flags, and kill ambassadors. But when destroyed Buddhas as Bamayan by gunfire. Christian church attacked as Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya. Or kill doctors as in Afghanistan. Burned thousands of Bibles, as in Iran. It seems that only God has the right to be angry is Allah, because their mouths remain closed and hands tied.
25. islam
Sam M ,   UK   (09.13.12)
The curse of multiculturanism, political correctness and moral equivalence is that gutless western politicians can't state the blindingly obvious that islam is a primitive, violent and ugly faith which has no place in the modern world, at least the more civilised part of it.
26. #19 Does Obama reallly have that much power?
Barry ,   Boston   (09.13.12)
I don't think Obama controls the Arab street. By the time he asked Mubarak to step down it was very clear that his days were numbered. As for Libya, John McCain and other Republicans were pushing for U.S. involvement. The right wing is pushing for U.S. involvement in Syria, which would open doors to extremists. If the words of American presidents moved oppressed citizens to revolt a lot more dictators would have fallen a lot sooner.
27. What Clinton said was exactly what needed to be said
C.J.L. ,   Tokyo   (09.13.12)
The video was disgusting. The U.S. goverment had nothing to do with it. There is freedom of speech. It should never come to violence as retribution for something that was not real, just a video, a poorly made one, at that. Everyone needs to let it go, and get back to their job.
28. Islam and Us!!
Kevin John Lee ,   Glasgow/UK   (09.13.12)
This film, next film, book, newspaper,we being non muslims, cannot nor should we,construct our lives to fit in with people of other nations, they dont have to share or view this film or any other,if if we are resident in their countries, fair enough, and as far as I am concerned why are we there, wasting our lives and they dont want us anyway.Pull out the embassies and advise citizens of our nations not to visit. Shalom Rav!!
29. there r clear USA laws 2 prosecute "Hate Crimes" ...
(09.13.12)

30. Apology ?
Roy-Goy ,   Amsterdam Holland   (09.13.12)
