Very good to see, but the community funding is what keeps it special and dedicated to that same community.
2. I'll remmeber that the next time they come schnorring
Al   (09.14.12)
There is no business like the religion business. Heres a heads up for most of you who havent got a clue as to these guys. They are far removed from the late Rabbi who passed on in 1994..he would ashamed of them today.

If ever ?? Chabad is smart; Real Estate is a good investment, particularly in Manhattan where there is only a finite amount of land

9. MY sweet little pagen fools who are removed from true
Al   (09.16.12)
Judaism are impressed by these pretenders. I have news for you..there is nothing very Jewish about Chabad. How do I know? Lets just say I know. I wouldnt give these pretenders a dime, neither should should anyone who really understands Judaism. They are into 'feel good Ism' designed to seperate you from reality. They preach anything you want to hear. Do their kids really join the Army in Israel? No! They dont...Quite simply Chabad is a cult, more so today then when the Rabbi was alive. Learn Judaism, learn our history, learn our Bible and then you will agree that these Chabadnicks are nothing more than a cult. A cult of schnorrers.

11. Chabad and #9
Moshe Kress ,   Spokane USA   (09.16.12)
Dear AL, I happen to know Chabadniks who have done military service and sadly even one who died while serving in the Israeli military. May you, and all of us, find it easier to love and harder to judge and hate in the coming year. L'Shana Tovah!
12. Reply to number 9. Non-Jews in Israel
Danny ,   London England   (09.23.12)
I have years of dealings with Chabad and I think they are doing a better job than most groups to bring people closer to genuine Jewish tradition. Outreach is the name of the game in our time of assimilation and intermarriage.
13. Just take a gaze at the Kings Point, NY mansion...
David ,   Hartford USA   (03.09.13)
These folks have lost their way. Bringing Chabad to the Iranian Jews of Kings Point, one of the wealthiest conclaves in the country (maybe the world?) Chabad is too busy tring to be the 'Rabbi to the Rich and Famous.' Their money could be spent much more wisely, reaching Jews far removed from organized religion and practice, instead they spends tens of millions of donated dollars to buy properties in the richest areas of the country. They need a check-up from the neck up.
