Did you know that when terrorists cache weapons in hospitals, mosques and schools, those hospitals, mosques and schools become legitimate military targets? Despite this, and despite the relative ease with which Israel can roll over terrorist enclaves, Israel has always striven to avoid collateral damage -- i.e., civilian deaths -- even though doing so needlessly endangers Israeli soldiers.
