I don't think the actual truth has been addressed. People forget that in the Bible it is clearly written that we Jews create our own destiny. If we follow G-d's commandments and laws, then we will merit to leave peacefully and if not then we will have to deal with the opposite. Regretfully we as a nation spend too much time wasting on ways of fixing things without addressing the real issue. If we were to truly want peace, then we could get it in an instant as the bible says. Until then we will see more suffering and pain. We just bring it on ourselves all the time.
