2. Does the media do anything except speculate?
Jake   (09.27.12)
In the absence of facts and evidence, all they can do is speculate.
3. No need for warnings.
Jarvis ,   Joseph USA   (09.27.12)
1. The Israelis have provided plenty warning. 2. No need for warning if the Iranians strike first. 3. The whole middle east is a big warning.
4. SURPRISE.....................SURPRISE
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.27.12)
No need to worry about IAEA inspectors at this juncture.Plan and plan well what would happen in Israel rather than few IAEA inspectors.Ignoring the obvious and trying to suggest how much worried you are about the inspectors sounds plausible to me.Get worried about spontaneous and devastating retaliation.
5. IAEA risk re Israel taking out nucs
Paul ,   United States   (09.27.12)
If IAEA is worried about this, and the possibility of an Israeli strike is yet to be determined, why not have a quiet discussion, and have IAEA announce that it will take one week vacations every month from now until the present crisis is resolved, to be announced a few days in advance?

8. The IAEA
Aryeh ,   Haifa,Israel   (09.27.12)
The IAEA is not part of the solution so one might wonder if it is part of the problem. If so, why would Israel warn it? Why would Israel warn any UN agency considering the treatment it gets from the UN? Perhaps Israel should state the obvious and issue a blanket warning that anyone in Iran should consider him/herself in a war zone and that Israel cannot guarantee anyone's safety there.
9. USA Russia China UK France All Watching Israel
World Citizen ,   the world   (09.27.12)
A sneak attack in the 21st Century is impossible. Satellites are watching down on Israel 24/7. Even your submarines are being tailed. Plus your big mouthed PM, Bibi the Blowhard, has run his mouth so much, for so long, that the Iranians never let their guard down. Israel is not going to do anything. Quit dreaming.

11. Amano's phone is almost certainly tapped
Vlad   (09.27.12)
It is a near certainty that Iranian intelligence is keeping close tabs on IAEA activity in the country. Furthermore, a sudden withdrawal of inspectors would not go unnoticed. So no, don't.
12. And just what are they going to do, "World citizen"?
Vlad   (09.27.12)
Attack the Israeli Air Force? No major power has enough air assets in the region to intercept an IAF raid on Iran. Even the US carrier battle group nearby has far fewer fighter planes than the number the IAF would send to attack Iran. No country would be able to scramble aerial assets to forcibly stop it. And what makes you think the submarines are being tailed? They operate deep underwater for months at a time, and are among the quietest diesel-electric subs in the world. Finding them is like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack.
13. non-observing observers
2Mad ,   גולה בצרפת   (09.27.12)
If they were doing the job they are paid for, it'll be easy for them to spot when Iran is close to completion - then duck and run. No need of warning, all they need to know is before their bare eyes. Unless they prefer to keep them shut - but that's another story.
14. No

19. And if a nuclear "accident" happens???
Thinking ,   Brazil   (09.28.12)
If a discrete "device" is smuggled into the facility; if the "device" is placed near to enriched "fuel"; if the "device" "sparks" an "nuke accident", fueled by surrounding "fuel"???? Things happens.....
20. To #9 world citizen
David ,   Israel   (09.28.12)
Netanyahu is only talking because of the pressure of your government and others around the globe. We have exhausted all talks to the point that all we receive is criticism, because we doomed to be condemned for acting either way. The difference is we aren't going to suffer catastrophic losses just to please you and the rest of the world. Because unlike the radical Muslims we don't cherish death - we cherish life
21. Israel never worried about collateral damage in the past
Elias   (09.28.12)
Why should it start now - look at how it singled out UN posts in Gaza during operation Cast Lead - they were attacked deliberately.
22. #9 Are you serious ?
Chad ,   U.S.A.   (09.28.12)
Just because everyone is watching don't mean anyone is going to stop a attack. And just to give a example , The U.S. with all it's technology can't even anticipate a attack on it's embassies, on 9/11 anniversary yet to boot . And let's be real , war is coming . Did you watch U.N. speech with Iran's Sunday morning sermon? They want war, to wipe Israel from the map .....They need the weapons to do it first . The world just expects Israel to lay down and act blind . Not gonna happen derp.
23. The post at No. 16 is not mine
