1. Israel must stop propping up Holocaust denying poseur.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.27.12)
Israel must stop propping up the Holocaust denying poseur, Abbas. Let the honest Hamas terrorists have Abbas for breakfast. Abbas is a far more dangerous enemy than Hamas. Israel is the only state, in all human history, to freely support her enemies. Let us all end the lunacy!
2. With more than 1/3 of Iasrael being "Palestinian" Arab
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (09.27.12)
With more than 1/3 of Israel being "Palestinian" Arab, he accuses us of ethnic cleansing? Ini 1948 Jordan ethnically cleansed the areas they occupied West of the Jordan River and renamed the area the West bank. Abbas wants to extend that ethnic cleansing into his future state, while Israel will still have 1/3 of the population being Arab. Seems that Mr. Abbas has no idea what ethnic cleansing means.
3. What a putz. Sit down and talk already!

4. A first step
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (09.27.12)
The UNGA should rightfully recognize Palestine. It would be a meaningful first step on the journey to the inevitable end result, which will be in integrated Muslim-Christian State of Palestine in the entire Holy Land, that will replace the Zionist usurpation.
5. Mahmoud.....
Dana Rothschild ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.27.12)

7. #4 Graczek - Just to llet you know
lBEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (09.27.12)
UNGA can't do dee didllee The UNGA does NOT have the authority to create binding law by a simple vote. It is not a global legislature, just as the UN is not a world government. Its resolutions are symbolic. Never mind the fact that the UN charter never gives the General Assembly such authority. Just think about it: Does anybody believe that in creating the UN, sovereign states like the U.S. and the Soviet Union handed over their own sovereign authority to a body in which tyrannical regimes and democratic ones, friends and allies, get an equal vote? That if, one day, the General Assembly decides to grant independence to Quebec, or Minnesota, or the Confederacy, that suddenly it will be binding on all member states, including Canada and the U.S.?

You really are dense, Israel isn't Occuping Arabs are Once again, find where Palestine is mentioned in the Quran , at least once??
9. A culture of Peace?
Dora   (09.27.12)
Let's see. Abbas said he was "speaking on behalf of an angry people," who believed they were not winning their rights despite adopting a "culture of peace and international resolutions." How many rockets have been launched into Israel from the people who have adopted a culture of Peace? When will these nuts understand that it is there own actions that dictate how Israel responds and how the International community treats them.
10. really?
ahemdi ,   usa   (09.27.12)
mr abbas is familiar with everything he accusses israel, why his "people" practically invented terrorism, his "people" are the world leaders of curriculum distortions, teaching to kill in early educational textbooks, so please dont flip it around, dont accuse israel of what you have done to her

Birdi ,   Israel   (09.27.12)
Oh yes, of course. Only in your dreams gracie.
12. #3. Israel has nothing to talk to P.A. terrorists about.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.28.12)
#3. Just as America has nothing to talk to Al Quaeda terrorists about; Israel has nothing to talk to P.A. terrorists about. Except perhaps the terms of "Palestinian" departure from our land forever.
13. I was going to call it a load of crap
YairJ   (09.28.12)
But crap is useful, and a vital part of the ecosystem. I would not insult crap with such a comparison.
14. Israel needs to bid at UN for Tiger river.

Which "Palestine" are you considering for recognition by the UN? Is it Gaza?Is it the West Bank? What part of the West Bank? Your issue of the Christian part of Palestine is disappearing very quickly,as they have come under increasing pressure to leave or convert to Islam. Your reference to "Zionist usurpation" is somewhat clouded by your bigotry. The League of Nations and the UN recognized the facts of the historical connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. The 3000 year presence of Jewish civilization in the land antedates Islam by at least 1600 years. But then, such facts are carefully avoided by the enemies of the Jewish State.Happy 5773!
16. Arabs
sk ,   USA   (09.28.12)
Big whiners, big bullies at the same time even though they have over 99% of Middle East land and hugely outnumber the Jews in humbers. Ooops, did I mention lazy as hell? And if not for oil....!
17. #8 ben jabo re:#6
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.28.12)
Read #6 again. I take it as sarcasm to graczek. The only other response graczek deserves us ignoring him.
18. First step for #4 - you move back to Europe
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.28.12)
I love meddling do-gooder Americans like Graczek, who forgets that they are nothing more than occupation settlers squatting on stolen native land. We Jews are in our native land, while Graczek continues the illegal occupation of a stolen continent by European fascists who committed genocide, brought in millions of slaves, and raped America for almost 200 years before giving the natives and slaves full rights.
19. Why has Abbas right to speak in UN ?
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (09.28.12)
Kurds, uygurs, tibetians, basques, catalans have no such rights. They also want independence and struggling against foreign occupation. Not to speak about the great gypsy nation, with 10 million population in Europe alone.
20. #17 Thanks Sol, you got it
