1. Diagram was intended to reveal UN stupidity
My Planet Israel ,   Israel/US   (09.28.12)
The diagram was a clear show of UN stupidity rather than a gimmick. You can't say it any simpler than Bibi did and I'm happy he resorted to a 2nd grade drawing to make his point: it was most certainly appropriate considering the knuckle heads he was standing before. The Joke was not on Netanyahu, but on the world and the 'opposition' in Israel who disgrace themselves by not standing with the PM during times of discord. If I were PM of Israel, I would have rejected any further aid from the US and slowly cut back relations with the White House but keep in touch with Congress and the Senate until Obama leaves. Obama is no friend of Israel and the MK's and opposition who think there wouldn't have been a problem with them in the PM's office, they're very foolish. Obama himself said that 'the fact that there is no daylight' between Israel and the US is a "problem." He WANTED distance and created it. NOT Bibi. Obama didn't meet with a SINGLE world leader at the UN: he was too busy on the 'View' and frolicking around like an emperor with no clothes to do so. He is a foreign policy nightmare. Go Bibi! You did the right thing. It was a major smack down of the noodnicks in the UN and Obama. Loved that drawing! It was hysterical! And of course, flew right over the heads of the haters and opposition, as it was meant to! LOL! AM YISRAEL CHAI!!!!!
2. Erekat
Jerome ,   AKL   (09.28.12)
There will be peace with Jerusalem the eternal capital of the Jewish people. Anything else will stay within your dreams for the next millenia.
3. Mrs. Gal-On
Israeli Texan   (09.28.12)
Who tried to meet the honorable president and was rejected for letterman/beyonce/jay-z/the view?
4. PM was excellent
Rosie   (09.28.12)
All the opposition leaders are pure jealous. They could never give a speech that is 10% of the PM speech. Linvi, Mofaz, Yachimovich, Galon...they are all loosers.
5. Great Speech, opponentes red with envy
Jorge   (09.28.12)
P.M. attracted attention of the world like no other to Irans problem, if he is not seated with Obama talking about Iran it is becausse the "great" american President only compared to Carter is too busy waging reelection campaign, and running scared about it. The west NEVER wakes up until towers are falling down, unfortunately Israel cant afford that and has to draw attention to a real and present danger, good job Mr. Netanyahu
6. So some of the politicians think he should talk with OBAMA?
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (09.28.12)
Obama is AWOL as the president of the United States. He is to busy on the view brushing up to the Jewish women that think they are more important...... than the rest of the Jews....and the survival of Israel. This so called President has abandoned Israel.....as well as the citizens of the United States. How do you communicate with a complete narcisist.....who only looks in the mirror and tells the women he is eye candy on the View. This guy has enough trouble getting to the golf course.......don't count on him showing up to converse about a war with Iran. WE....ARE ALL....on our own... if this guy gets re-elected.....which seems more probable as the days go by. Don't negotiate with a little kid......this guy has never grown up. Tough decisions should be made by Netanyahu...your leader. Obama doesn't know how to lead....he is some kind of rock star in his own mind....a legend.
7. The IAEA is monitoring all of Irans....
Chris.B ,   Australia   (09.28.12)
nuclear sites there are no bombs this is just pure fantasy. As for the looney tunes bomb picture presented to the U.N by the leader of an occupying nation who has proven illegal nuclear weapons itself how can anybody take him seriously.
8. Netanyahu's speech did what he set out to do
Paul ,   Jeruslaem   (09.28.12)
In his last speech he went forth with the intent to shine a light in a place of filth and darkness. What good is that if most politicians in Israel and the UN have their eyes closed. The criticisms are nearly absurd, and embarrassing for conscious human beings.
9. No Gimicks by Bibi.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (09.28.12)
Iran is in parallel with the designs of Islamic regimes, exposing a historically evidenced thread of genocidal aspirations. The '48 multi-state Arab invasion on a UN established state, with the declared goal of genocide - was no gimmick. There has been a thread of the same deeds since '48, with serial 2-state demands in the same land every 50 years, the transfer of the name Palestinian from Jews to Arab Muslims and Iran's claims. What gimmick!?
10. Wrong way!
Valdi ,   Germany   (09.28.12)
Either do some thing if you can, or create a coalition, or demand from those who warn Israel to act - USA, Russia) - to guarantee a nuclear shield for Israel, and be prepared to survive with nuclear Iran, which is unavoidable in long term any way. Some day they will collapse. Don't panic, no one is going to attack Israel knowing we can hit back.
11. The Important Thing is
Ezra ,   San Diego USA   (09.28.12)
This man had the intestinal fortitude to make it clear Iran is building a bomb, and no one's buying the lie about peaceful nuclear use. The groundwork has been laid in front of the Arab dictators. Why would anyone sitting on that much oil need nuclear energy? Duh.
12. Mofaz: for the lose.
Daniel   (09.28.12)
No roadmap? Bibi suggested declaring a red line. Theres your roadmap, Shaul. But apparantly Mr. Mofaz believes unless there will five years of talks, talking about what to talk about, then it's not a real plan. In his world, deadlines are moveable and ignorable, and the word "action" doesn't exist. These are the people that rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic for a solution. The only reason US is distancing from Israel under Netanyahu is because Obama is Potus. It has nothing to do with Bibi. Obama's first phone call went to abbas. first interview went to al arabiya. first bow went to abdullah. Shall I continue??? he has run a defacto arms embargo against israel since the day he took office. We would need an entire website to illustrate his full contempt for Israel. Blaming all the heinous activities of Obama on Benjamin Netanyahu is nothing less than an appalling lack of objectivity, and willful ignorance.
13. Fools!
Ellen ,   Israel/NYC   (09.28.12)
Israel is facing a very real threat from Iran. Opposition members need to know when to close ranks and support the current Prime Minister. When they publicly ridicule his UN presentation don't they realize they are helping Israel's enemies. What will it take for some of them to just "get it"
14. These politicians are so short sighted
Seth ,   New York   (09.28.12)
15. unbelievable
alexandralongisland ,   sands point ny   (09.28.12)
msnbc is reporting the white house found bibi and his cartoon bomb chart hysterical, congratulations you are now a joke
16. Bibi did an excellent job to present a true situtation
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (09.28.12)
He was concise, straight to the point, and it was a very clearly presented message. The sincere message and the presentation of it, as exemplified by Bibi, can result in a better understanding to the listeners
17. Netanyahu a clown and PM no more.!!!(End)
Chemstar333 ,   Cleveland, USA   (09.28.12)
18. Read between the lines people.
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (09.28.12)
Netanyahu just put the world on notice that Israel will NOT allow enrichment much longer. That little red line diagram really said; We will not wait on anyone and will deal with Iran ourselves, if need be. So be it and I stand with Israel and Netanyahu 100%. Let's roll!
19. Bibi at his best
Lioness ,   Israel   (09.28.12)
....and the diagram was meant for the idiots who dont understand the serious nature of the problem, just like a teacher draws a diagram so that the kids understand Bibi did it so that the world might look and understand. In the end Israel will still be here, I have no doubt about that as the G-d of Israel will be watching over us. I am not sure about the rest of the world who are allowing the madman in Iran to carry on with his nuclear program. The only country other than Israel that will be spared will be Canada.
20. Beep Beep
Sarah b ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.28.12)
All we have to do is tell ACME not to sell Iran a bomb. Whoever thought of this is an idiot
21. Mock away
Ron M ,   South TA - Zion   (09.28.12)
The whole panet was talking about Israel's red line now, exactly what we wanted in Israel.. I can assure you the whole planet could care less and is definitely NOT talking about Yechimovich, Gal-On, or Mofaz.
22. Shelly Yackamuchmouth
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (09.28.12)
She can only criticize, she has no other purpose in life. Bibi is doing what he should; trying to wake up the world to a serious threat on us. Like Hitler before him, Achmadajad is actively planning our demise. Shelly, learn how to be honest, not just a politician.
23. The Mad Dogs of Tehran need to be put down.
Ken Quinn ,   Ashalim   (09.28.12)
I liked the speech. It was clear, so simple that a little boy could understand it. And I hope that the Negro-In-Chief had a chance to catch the news.
24. UN Bomb
SixSixSix ,   Seattle, USA   (09.28.12)
That had to be about the lamest, most pathetic presentation device anyone has used in public in a long time. He needed only to pull up an empty chair and talk to it for the pitch to be complete. He must have caught the stupid in public disease from his good buddy Willard. If you think he shamed Israel, well he did. Abba Eden this guy ain't.
25. well said
Mike Shore ,   Dallas, USA   (09.28.12)
very well said. great speech. did a great job framing the challenges faced by the free world
26. The "red line" is an excellent idea,
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (09.28.12)
but it must not mean unconditionally a war. Just enough to declare a state of emergency in Israel. Even the world's most stupid peoples , including Hussein Obama, will understand, thet the israeli nation is in danger. The state of emergency must mean serious consequences against all enemies of the State of Israel. Not only hostile arabs but also suicidal jews. I suggest forced transfer from certain areas. If the danger is over, the state of emergency will also end, of course.
27. There is a reason!
Jew1 ,   Ashdod   (09.28.12)
We all know that this man knows to talk and give an effective speech. I don't think this speach was for all those sitting in UN but it was for simple people in Israel and abroad. All the nations leaders do know exactly where Iran stands on nuclier bomb. They are not fools. They are just turning blind eye to it. This speech was purposely simplified to approach simple people who can put pressure on their leadership to take action.
28. charade running out of steam
Steve   (09.28.12)
I think one fact remains crystal clear. Regardless of the issue, the PA continues their provocations like the little bitches they are. Never once making any statement which can be deemed anything other than completely inflammatory, they remain unrepentant and eternally hostile.
29. even his WIFE noticed how RIDICULOUS bb was
Sarah B ,   U.S.A/Israel   (09.28.12)
"The problem lies not in waiting for next spring or summer, but in the fact that the West is distancing itself from Israel under Netanyahu's leadership. "What needs to be achieved now is an agreement over these red lines, via discreet coordination with the United States," he added. "Setting a red line unilaterally restricts Israel's maneuvering room and isolates the threat as a Jewish problem, rather than a global one."
30. THANK YOU BIBI! EXCELLENT SPEECH
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (09.28.12)
None of the politicians in Israel can speak as eloquently and clearly as Bibi. Mofaz can't even a word of English. Funny how he jumps at Bibi and tries to correct his speech after it has been done. But none will ever hear him give a speech because he is just not capable of it. It is really easy to criticize, sir! But, what you ever done politically for Israel beside the military?
