bari ,   nyc usa   (09.28.12)
who cares about meeting with morsi? there's nothing to come out of it. just as there's nothing to come out of meeting with abbass or any other arab. they hate us and would like us to be dead. meeting over!
2. Morsi
Toby   (09.28.12)
There are already 22 Arab nations on over 99% of Middle East land. The world does not need ANOTHER Arab nation. Arab nations have the money, the land, resources and means to absorb your Arab brothers, the so-called "Palestinians" and make peace in the region! Do it and stop being such obstinate hate-filled antagonizers.
3. This is BS meetings should not be optional
aiman ,   jersey   (09.28.12)
If there is an issue that has to be delt with by both countries then Morsi better wake and realize this isnt a game.
4. Real progress is paying "Palestinians" to leave.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.28.12)
Every time there is talk of "progress" during "peace talks with Palestinians", it always means one thing. Another stupid, lunatic Israeli concession. Real progress is paying "Palestinians" to leave our land forever.
5. Egyptians will soon
jim, ,   London   (09.28.12)
understand that this radical will make their lives miserable poor egyptians
6. dear morsi
DavidR ,   USA   (09.28.12)
You think more highly of yourself than you ought! Do you actually believe that Israel cares. What makes you think that you are even the slightest bit worthy to enter Israel, much less the muslim brotherhood terrorist representatives of yours. Tread lightly morsi or you may find yourself a victim of the wrath of the G-d of Israel. He accomplishes His Will through His People. The IDF can be a fearsome ax!
7. Unfortunately we don't have a leader
David ,   On this planet   (09.28.12)
in the USA that can put an end to the arrogance and defiance of Egypt and its leaders. No time in the history the world the USA looked so weak and defenseless in foreign policy and to her enemies.Americans should walk with their heads down from shame
8. Tell Morsey to go to hell
Avi ,   Usa   (09.28.12)
Time to Isolate these islamsts. Every unfriendly islamist country must be sanctioned and financially isolated till they submit to modernity. This is the way to win this war
9. Morsi imitating Erdogan.
Nora Tel Aviv   (09.28.12)
10. Egypt abiding by Peace Treaty?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (09.28.12)
Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty; "Article III The Parties will apply between them the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law governing relations among states in times of peace. In particular: a)They recognize and will respect each other's sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence;" Describing the State of Israel as 'the Zionist entity' is a strange way to recognise its sovereignty. Double talk and more double talk. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
11. Stay away, Morsi, and wait for your yearly
A ,   Belgium   (09.28.12)
handouts from the EU and US in your own pathetic.country.
12. It seems that Morsi is breaching the treaty
Jacob Blues ,   New York City, USA   (09.28.12)
The peace treaty calls for normalized relations between Israel and Egypt, including full diplomatic exchanges. By eliminating normal diplomatic contact, it seems that Egypt would be in breach of the treaty. I wonder how much of the Sinai Penninsula he's ready to return since it appears that Egypt is ready to forswear itself. In addition, it also shows that any peace agreement with an Arab state isn't worth the paper its printed on.
13. Oh my how will Israel go on with out this idiot
Mike ,   Israel   (09.28.12)
14. # 12 Jacob Blues Agreed
big bad Jew ,   United States   (09.28.12)
15. To #4, Chaim
Gabe ,   Canada   (09.28.12)
Not a penny to an Egyptian, Jordanian, Saudi Arabian or Syrian who is pretending to be a "Palestinian".
16. What has he done for the Egyptian people?
Mark ,   London, UK   (09.28.12)
We have to wait and see whether Morsi can deliver anything of substance to the Egyptian people. Should he fail to do so (and are foreign investors likely to flock to invest there?) you can expect it will all be the fault of Zionists and Jews.
17. I thought Morsi was smart.
Israeli 2   (09.28.12)
18. Morsi
Joyce ,   USA   (09.29.12)
These guys are experts and total bs and doubletalk. it's maddening. Israel is damned if they do, and damned if they don't.
19. Hateful comments
Truth ,   Canada   (10.03.12)
Judging from the comments on this thread, I'd have to agree with popular opinion that Israel has no desire to end things peacefully. FYI God and the IDF share no common bonds. Your concept of God having a vested interest in Israel conquering the mid east clearly demonstrates your lack of intelligence.
