important. LED lights emit phenol gas which is carcinogenic, so LED lighting should be banned for safety's sake. Curly-Q lightbulbs contain mercury which create a horrific hazard if one breaks. Breathing in mercury vapors is neurotoxic and brain toxic. Stepping on a broken mercury filled light bulb accidentally can lead to horrific healing problems in which the skin and meat of the foot necrose (die) and the split open would enlarges until amputation is the only option since healing the horrific wound often fails. What is efficiency in the face of such safety hazards? It is not important. Going back to Edison light bulbs that do not emit carcinogenic phenol gas or have toxic mercury is the only option from a safety standpoint.

light bulbs is that they pollute landfills and mercury leeches into ground water. Not everyone has a Seychelle water pitcher filter or reverse osmosis water filtering system to protect oneself from hazards in the drinking water.
