1. a guess
Michael ,   Haifa   (10.06.12)
If there is any shift in Netanyahu's policy, my hunch is that he is slowly realizing that Obama is going to be re-elected.
2. COWARD ISRAEL
Perry ,   Dubai   (10.06.12)
The coward Israel is now trying to camouflage its nervousness by rhetoric of SHIFTING POLICIES just to get rid of previous rhetoric of PREEMPTIVE STRIKE against Iran....Have not seen such an example of cowardliness ever. It is a proof that they wanted Americans to fight behalf of them and when American refused to do so they all of a sudden decided to shift the policy.
3. I suppose ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.06.12)
..... that the demonstrations could be nothing more than Iranian disinformation, and have been orchestrated by the Iranian government in order to draw attention away from Iran's nuclear program and in order to convince people that the sanctions are working. It would be foolish to discount such a scenario.
4. The crazy islamist regime of Iran doesn't care about their
Rachel   (10.06.12)
citizens. They care only about investing and developing nuclear weapon and wipe Israel of the map. It helps Syrian dictator to slaughter his population, supports islamistic terrororganisation and terror cells around the world. It arrests people, torture them and kill them. The religious high leadership is not caring at all about that people starve i his country, he is obsessed by the idea of wiping Israel of the map with nuclear weapons
5. No policy shifting ever!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.06.12)
Iran needs to be attacked, even if a democratic revolution topples Khamenei and Iran abandons its nuclear programme. Who cares anyway? Just start bombing.
6. NOTHING has changed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (10.06.12)
7. Not really
Matt   (10.06.12)
But a strike was stopped before the US election. If Romney wins then Obama has 3 months to do a deal. There may be elections early in Israel, could be a change of government and policy. So there is some time left to try again to crack the egg. Unlikely either a deal or cracking the egg, will occur. So you can say there is around 6 months of high food prices. Perhaps at best these domestic issues may not crack the egg, but cause the Iranians to further delay to splits and disagreements in the ruling class, then you have the Iranian elections in June, so the timeline may lead into that, 8 or 9 months. However the day is late and hope is never a strategy.
8. Iran demonstrations
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (10.06.12)
The government of Iran will quickly and efficiently put down this disorderly malcontent rabble and reestablish security and order.
9. What one should hope for is that this is the
DT ,   TA Israel   (10.06.12)
end of Baraks political carreer . He cares only fo Barak and nothing else
10. Sara B
biglen ,   delray beach USA   (10.06.12)
Just start bombing????and when Iran bombs back???Do u really want to see TA and Jlem in ruins. Yours are the words of an idiot full of sound and fury, signifying nothing
11. Iranian Govt.'s prank?
Rdab ,   India   (10.06.12)
...just paranoid, war mongers are becoming psycho-wreck. Anti Govt demonstrations mean pressure just that. An attack will certainly unite Iranians behind their Govt. besides achieving nothing but destruction (of Israel as well).
12. #2
Yaron ,   USA   (10.06.12)
Look who is talking....you are in a country and a culture of cowards. Name one thing your country-men have ever done for themselves. You have the gaul to call the Israelis cowards when your own country is a nation of wimps.
13. Biglen re Sara
Barry ,   Tokyo   (10.06.12)
I agree with you. Sara is a borderline delusional psychotic. She is blinded by her hate.
14. No proof that an opposition change makes a difference
Tal ,   Jerusalem   (10.06.12)
Whoa! There isn't one smidgen of proof that a regime change Tehran would stop or even delay the development of nuclear weapons. Opposition groups in the past have continually expressed for this policy.
15. The Only Shift SHOULD TO MOVE UP TIME LINE
(10.06.12)
The ILLEGAL regime in tehran Thinks They Are A Superpower NOW IS THE TIME FOR for them to put up! Bibi and Gen.B.Gantz need Open Up With Destroy electric grid, Desemate military complex, destroy oil industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many choices???????????????????

17. I always maintained that changes may be
leo ,   usa   (10.06.12)
triggered by 2013 elections in Iran and attack may not be necessary. It does not mean that current events may allow to make a decision earlier if at all, but let's keep watching closely and hoping.
18. The Big Lie
chester ,   miami   (10.06.12)
Iran never said they wanted to wipe out Israel. If you think they did, prove it.
19. re #5 Sarah - I do not think this is the

20. Sarah is what Jewdaism and being Jewish is all about...
Edithann ,   USA   (10.06.12)
There is no daylight between Zionism and Judaism...all cut from centuries of 'hate'! TATA
21. Coming Attractions
Joey   (10.06.12)
All the ingredients are in the boiling Iran/Syria stew soon to be served hot off the stove with Master Chef Putin's able assistance. When the mushroom clouds of fallout from the coming Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt war settle, Israel will be blamed and not the Caliphate Crusaders and their death worshiping cult of Mohammed, the false prophet of hell. The Jews in America, especially those who voted for their false messiah Obama will be targeted because they are the closest thing to Israel, even though they long ago abandoned God and Israel. Aliyah would be wise and much easier now, before the window closes. God is setting the stage to draw all the nations into his trap, and Israel is the bait.
22. #10 biglen
DavidR ,   USA   (10.06.12)

24. 10 and 13
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (10.06.12)
Unfortunately anyone can post using anyone elses name. You could use mine or I could use yours etc. If a post sounds stupid or doesn't make sense it isn't Sarah B doing the posting.
25. Sooner Netanyahu fires Barak
Rachel ,   US   (10.06.12)
the better off Israel will be.
26. To: MR at No. 19

You are quite correct. The post at No. 5 is not mine. The post at No. 3 is, however, mine.
27. The troll at No. 5 is a Brit

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.06.12)
And you are the culmination of generations of inbreeding and life in a trailer park. Not much there to begin with, compounded with years of marrying your cousins and uncles. Idiotann -- a 21st century Juke. Or are you a Kallikak? Both, perhaps?
29. #22 DavidR
Biglen ,   delray beach USA   (10.06.12)
You are right, I was being stupid. Real Sarah B., I apologize. And graczek from Maryland, you got me. I really believed Sarah B. wrote #5.
30. As long the riot police are well fed,
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (10.06.12)
haminey is secure on his throne, note, the demonstrators didn't shout anti haminey slogans, just anti achmedenijad, because haminey,as allah's messenger to iran is well respected, and as long there is no starvation in iran there will be no regime change.
