An Israeli drone should return via the same route as the Iranian drone's and there to seek out and utterly destroy Armadenijad's house.

6. I love how the IDF is portraying this as a success!!!
Thomas the Doubter ,   USA   (10.06.12)
So a drone launched from Lebanon is shot down north of Be'er Sheva after hanging around in Israeli airspace for 30 minutes and the IDF spokesmen and the writer of this article seem to be portraying this as some sort of great military success for Israel?!! The fact that an Iranian made drone made it to Be'er Sheva should be at least a cause for concern if not alarm. It's going to be a fun decade guys!!!
7. Surely another cassus beli...

This is an act of war by Iran. They seem to be obsessed with pursuing Israel.
8. too late

seems to me a grave danger to Israels security when a drone only detected in Mid-Israel is shot down.

11. It's not so much about the one or the other incident
Yael Schlichting ,   currently Munich   (10.06.12)
It's about Israel's ability to build up and retain its capability to put out any fire with devastating force, thus delivering the last answer to the question if Israel has a right to exist. There are enough forces in the wider region, who only learn the answer by becoming martyrs.
12. Oh dear
Mordechi ,   London, UK   (10.06.12)
Hmmmm, something very fishy here. Drone, missile and firing vector all in the same video shot. Very very odd. Almost like...I don't know...almost like its a stunt!

When Arabs commit suicide bombings against Jews, or penetrate border areas with explosives..the spinmeisters tell the world, the act was done by a retarded person. Im sure the same spinners and their suppoters will say it was a hoax, pre-planned PR by Israel to make points agin Hez or Iran. In fact, this is not the first attempt. If parts are discovered, the origin will be know. The next drone will have a warhead most likely. The same excuse. Just another tactic by Israel's enemies to provoke and twist things around. The real becoming the unreal. Hez was supposed to disarm after the ceae fire years ago. Syria, as we know, armed them to the hilt with Korean and Iranian weapons and some of their own. Today an armed drone, what tomorow? Assuming BC weaons fall into the hands of Hez, then what. A drone could have a BC warhead and then aim for Haifa, etc. Israel's enemies are not testing Israel, but probing its defenses.
15. #12 Stunt by Iran's clowns
Ron ,   US   (10.06.12)
Now the drone is in the safe hands of Israel.
16. #6 & 8
Janice Tucker ,   Denver, USA   (10.06.12)
If you read the headline article on Fox it explains that the drone was monitored and escorted as soon as it entered Israeli air space. It was not shot down until it was out of any populated area. They also waited to determine whether or not it was carrying explosives. Janice. Denver, USA

michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (10.06.12)
From the moment that it was identified, a squadron of F-16I fighter jets was scrambled from the Ramon airbase in the Negev, and accompanied the UAV. The air force was able to shoot down the UAV at any time, but chose to fly along with it for several minutes. For safety reasons, the air force took a decision to shoot down the UAV over the northern Negev.
19. #3 - many what got away?
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (10.06.12)
The whole world knows where Dimona is and a drone isn't needed to find it. Try Google Maps.
20. #8 Did you read the article?

It was tracked over the med and not over Israel. 21. #6 Thomas is it a bad day or are normaly this dumb?
Mike ,   Israel   (10.06.12)
Read the damn article and make an effort to understand it (may be asking to much) the drone flew over the sea and only headed toward shore over Gaza. It was discovered as soon as it left Lebonon air space. I know you guys are still pissed that your drone was shot down over Iran with a pee shooter but hey its the way the cockie crumbels. Now dont worry your litle sole over this, we are taking care of this, stay tuned doubter
22. #4 - Did you read this article?
Chaim T. ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.06.12)
If you had read it all, you would have noticed that your question WAS answered. "It is also clear that Hezbollah chose such a long route so that it would not be accused of sending the drone and risk Israeli retaliation. In other words, Hezbollah tried to conceal the fact that it had sent the drone by selecting a long route that passed through the Mediterranean Sea. It wanted the drone to enter Israel near Gaza, perhaps in an attempt to place the blame on Hamas, which is currently considered hostile to elements that are loyal to Iran. "

unnoticed (they might even track dragonflies, for goodness sake). They tracked it from the get-go, assessing it and finding out where "they" were interested to send it. Haven't you ever watched any old superhero episodes? You don't just jump on the bad guy. You wait to find out what he's up to and then finally -- *Blam* *Zap* *Kazowie*
