31. M Davison 16 . It's a SAIL ship
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.07.12)
with an engine "in case of..." You can't compare this ship to a cruise one , you showed a lack of knowledge [ or stupidity ]
32. the other way around
Akos Simon ,   Budspest, Hungary   (10.07.12)
'Blockade creates bitterness and hatred.' is TRUE ACTUALLY the OTHER WAY AROUND
33. two more remarks
Akos Simon ,   Budspest, Hungary   (10.07.12)
The ship itself may be peaecefull, but not at least the 15 pro-islamic protesters on board. Why would you believe these 15 people even if they have signed anything?
34. The "Estelle" will not be able to break blockade
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (10.07.12)
But she is quite welcome to one of Israel's ports - for inspection, for the passengers to take a break (under supervision) and let Israel deliver the inspected goods into Gaza.
35. Good luck to them!

the money to finance this stupidity ?
37. The next group of Farts on the Fartilla
Tim ,   Brighton   (10.07.12)
Im no international legal expert but have been told by one that Israel has the right to stop and arrest the Fartilla protagonists and levy a personal fine on each of up to $5000.00 Interestingly...My Irish Ex Fart friend tells me that this would have definitely served to deter him from any further Fartilla attempts As for the Israeli Farts...
38. #30 I guess
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (10.07.12)
It is no secret, Hamas officially calls for the extermination of every Jew in the world. Why should Israel give them anything? As for siege, Haza has a border with Egypt. What kind of siege is that? I guess what the Norwegians say about the Swedes is true.
39. Who funds the Ship to Gaza?
Rachel   (10.07.12)
Certain Swedish politicians of a municipality in the Stockholm county supported this trip public tax money, Swedish church, Diakonisa- belonging to Swedish church, islamistic groups, boycott Israel movements etc. Most of the mentioned above also finance advertisement against Israel full of lies and disinformation.
40. Like the flying dutchman
Karl Heinz Holzmann ,   Germany   (10.07.12)
A misled perception of so called humanitarian values, infatuated through wrong political idiology they will soon wake up in reality, realizing that the real adress, where help is desperatly needed is further north with the syrian people
41. The Estelle is a peaceful ship
Puneet Madaan ,   Eurasia   (10.07.12)
Its like a sexual offencer saying, this is a loveful condom ... Dumbo, Ship is not peaceful or aggresive... its the peoples travelling through it !!! and Hamas is not peaceful entity !!!

Sir, you are waiting your time. You haven't understood anything about the conflict ! Palestinians do not agree to the 2 state solutions because they want the whole land ! So your flotilla is a waiting of time! It's time you learn and open your eyes!

45. @ #31, the Moron Charles
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (10.07.12)
I know that, genius. Unlike some people, I don't have a reading comprehension problem... nor do I have a problem doin math calculations. The distance between Naples and Gaza by sea is about 1,130 nautical miles (knots). Divcide that by 14, then by 24 and you'll get an average speed of less than 3.5 knots per hour. People row boats faster than that. I guess it's you who showed your lack of a) reading comprehension; b) sense of humor and c) estimate of who you deal with. Next time you want to put your foot in your mouth, try mine, it's bigger.
46. Would someone like to disclose...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (10.07.12)
How much "humanitarian aid" the Estelle is carrying? No article I've seen mentions this little detail, but in a 42-meter (138-foot) sailing sloop, it can't be all that much. Isn't this just another attempt to gather headlines and try to confront Israel? You think these idiots would learn...
47. Ship of Fools

Deadbeat jerks pretending to be doing something of value. Stale supplies, losers and failures = Ship of Fools
48. Who can't read ? You empty mouth !
Charles ,   Petachj Tikva   (10.07.12)
This ship is 53 m , not 42 m as you , with your ignorance , "wrote" A mile is a a "knot" , tryt to learn something , big empty mouth . "knots" are used to tell the speed of a ship , not a distance .
49. LOL!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
Look at the photographs. Look how high the vessel rides in the water -- there IS NO CARGO. There ARE NO HOLDS! Look at the rigging -- the ESTELLE -- as I have said all along -- is a pleasure craft. It is obvious that it is a motorized sailing yacht. See the portholes? Cargo vessels do not have portholes. You cannot double-side and double-hull a vessel and have portholes! Where, oh where, is Charles from Petach Tiqva? I cannot wait to rub his nose in it? Hey, Charlie boy -- come out, come out, wherever you are! Tell me all about your imaginary cargo carrier ESTELLE. Do you have an imaginary friend on board the ESTELLE, too? How much "cargo" can a vessel that has no holds carry, Charlie?
50. To: No. 48
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
Wrong -- as usual. A "knot" is not a mile, it is a nautical mile per hour, and is therefore a measurement of both distance and speed. Try to learn something. Hey, Charlie boy -- see the pretty masts? They are for sails. See the portholes? They are for passengers to gaze out at the sea. Still think that the ESTELLE is a cargo vessel? It isn't. As I have told you and told you, it is a motorized yacht -- in other words, a pleasure craft. It's a fiberglass boat, Chuckie. Any so-called "humanitarian" cargo it may be carried would be blankets and aspirin. You asserted at one time that the ESTELLE carried cement. If the vessel in the photograph ever carried cement, it would sink to the bottom like a stone. The least you can do is apologize. But you're not man enough.
51. To: No. 31
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
What's the matter, Chuckles? Scrambling backward from your assertion that the ESTELLE is a -- snicker -- cargo carrier with two holds? (I'm sorry; I'm trying to keep from laughing aloud.) The ESTELLE is a motorized yacht. It has no holds. It is not a cargo carrier. Cargo carrying vessels (i) are not made of fiberglass; (ii) do not have portholes; and (iii) do not have masts or rigging or sails. You're the stupid one, Chuckles; you're the one with the remarkable ignorance. Two holds on a fiberglass motorized yacht with portholes with masts and rigging. Oh, what a fool you are, Chuckie. Stick to sailing toy boats in your bathtub, dear; that is the extent of your maritime knowledge and expertise . You won't make nearly as much of a fool of yourself. Two cargo carrying holds on the ESTELLE -- oh, Chuckles, you have NO idea how funny that is!
52. Notice,please:
Keren ,   IL-BR   (10.07.12)
These antisemitic flotilas are made up of nursing homes fugitive women and agressive heavy bearded "palestinians",and/or some trolls. It´s always the same. That english women from the video is ridiculous.
53. To: M. Davison at No. 46
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
The ESTELLE isn't carrying much of anything beyond blankets and aspirin. As you have pointed out (and as I have pointed out), the ESTELLE is a motorized yacht, made of fiberglass and without holds. Charles of Petach Tiqva made the absurd assertion earlier in the week that the ESTELLE was a cargo carrier and had two (!) holds.) He also asserted that it had once carried several metric tons of cement in one of its two (nonexistent!) cargo holds. Cement comes packed in either 100 or 250 kilo bags, and has to be palletized. The ESTELLE could not carry more than one bag of cement without seriously compromising her trim. The very prospect is absurd. Yet, in his post at No. 48, Charles then has the nerve to disparage you because he wrote that the vessel is a 42-meter vessel (which I am inclined to think was simply misplacing your fingers on the keyboard; 4-2 would be right next to 5-3) -- but of course Charles ignores the substantive and focused on the entirely irrelevant. He's good at that. By the way -- you are correct in your calculations concerning knots. It would be almost futile to calculate the ESTELLE's speed and distance in knots, anyway, if she were sailing under wind -- too much digression from the charted course and too big a vessel to correct simply by tacking. She'd have to operate as a motor vessel, and without any holds or ballast tanks, she'd bounce around on the seas like a toy boat. Not a vessel I'd take across the Mediterranean in fall weather .....
54. 50 . A knot is a speed measure
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.07.12)
Never heard of a distance measured in knots , but about knots per hour , the speed . And the Estelle has two holds , more than 300 cubic metres of loading space . Look at the website of this ship . It transported materials from Finland and vice versa . But this you won't do , nor admit your big lies .
55. My mistake in 48
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.07.12)
But i said , in my last sentence that knots are used to tell the speed . not a distance . And that is correct , sorry i forgot a word . it must be "a mile is not a knot" . Knots per hour are the miles per hour .
56. to tsouserele
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.07.12)
look at this : http://www.estelle.fi/en/estelle/-cargo-transport . You will see who is right . You don't know anything about this ship , as you're ignorant about everything . But you're a champion in telling lies , this i must admit . Sad that your Sbarro story was a lie too .
57. To: No. 56
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Trying to salvage some vestige of dignity and pride, are you, Chuckles? Too late. It is obvious to all that a sailing vessel -- even motorized -- is not equipped to carry cargo. It has no holds. You dug up some ridiculous website with an even more ridiculous assertion and could not be bothered to check the facts. There is no cargo vessel called the MV ESTELLE that is registered with the IMO. I'm willing to bet that some fraudulent organization is trying to drum up donations -- a con job. Well, you got suckered (not surprising, actually). You are such a jerk, Charles. Best quit now, before I REALLY humiliate you.
58. Enough nonsense!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.07.12)
Take a look at the top picture. See the white lines going down the prow of the ship? That draught (pronounced "draft") and shows the displacement of the vessel. This vessel is carrying no cargo. (It cannot; it doesn't have holds.) It isn't even carrying ballast tanks. Secondly, see the flag the vessel is flying? That's a big no-no. Any seagoing vessel is allowed to fly two flags, and two flags only: the vessel flag and the flag of jurisdiction. Since the flag that is shown is a flag of a nonexistent jurisdiction -- that could be a little troublesome with respect to securing insurances for subsequent voyages. The hypocrisy of these flotilla organizers is beyond extraordinary. Why not organize a relief flotilla to Syria? Syrian civilians are in far more dire straits than the obese ersatz "Palestinians" in Gaza. I guess if you cannot go up against the State of Israel, there's just no fun to be had. Or, more likely, the so-called "humanitarian" organizers of this single-vessel "flotilla" are acutely aware that the Syrians will blow them out of the water. They are not interested in dying for their cause, nor are they interested in bringing humanitarian aid to the truly needy. All they are interested in doing is casting Israel in a bad light. Except this time around, a lot of people who really didn't care about any of the earlier flotillas are kind of asking themselves -- "Why Gaza? Why not Syria?" It's going to backfire on the organizers, big time .....
