I was lucky enough to be there, and it was a once in a lifetime experience. I can die a happy man. There is NO ONE quite like Barbra. Her pipes are still amazing, and I am uplifted and still on my high. To #1, all I can say is what is naive to you is idealism to her and to many others. Idealism combined with pragmatism is what moves things forward, not your obstinance at anyone who doesn't agree with you.

if you had her studio-full of vocal-processing gear, and her recording engineers.... you could sound good, too. I know for a fact that Celine Dion trucked several cubic-meters worth of her own vocal-rig to the venue, when she started the Las Vegas gig.
