31. #28 Except of course
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (10.15.12)
only 75% of the American taxpayer money has to be spent in the Uited States. The remaining 25% can be invested in Israeli military equipment it can sell ion the international market. In direct competition with American military systems costing American jobs as Israeli sales are subsidised by the American taxpayer. Canada as a member of NATO should have been purchasing American UAV's not Israeli

BENJABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (10.15.12)
that most of new American Equipment has been designed in Israel “Israeli Weapons Systems Employed by the U.S.” Most of the money is spent in the USA on American Products, Manufactured by American's, there is no such thing as Free Money, this money creates jobs for American worker’s, try working, you have a chance of earning some of it In return America receives the following: “BREITBARTTV – ISRAELI SYSTEMS USED BY AMERICA” Israeli Weapons Systems Employed by the U.S. Israel, a small nation surrounded by enemies many times her size, has long been known as a great innovator of cutting-edge military technology at affordable costs. Over the years, Israel's ingenuity has helped it win many battles and protect the lives of its soldiers. American interest in Israeli systems is growing as the U.S. military looks for ways to decrease its spending and minimize casualties during wartime. "Made in Israel" solutions are now meeting some of America's biggest needs. ITALD (Improved Tactical Air Launched Decoy) These jet powered, unpiloted decoys look and maneuver like an airplane. They are used to confuse enemy radar and draw the fire away from the piloted aircraft. Therefore, piloted aircraft can perform their missions under "safer" conditions because enemy radar attention is diverted and the enemy's air defense power is degraded. Earlier unpowered glider versions of the ITALD were used extensively during the initial stages of the Gulf War and in Bosnia. Reactive Armor Tiles These tiles, developed by the IDF after the Yom Kippur War, protect its tanks and the soldiers operating them. These tiles overlay the tank's armor and have explosives embedded in them that explode outward when hit by missiles. The explosion destroys and repels the incoming missile before it penetrates the tank's main armor. During the 1982 Lebanon war, not a single Israeli tank equipped with these tiles was lost to enemy fire. The Army has received funds to outfit several hundred armored vehicles used in peacekeeping or urban combat operations with the protective tile sets. Litening The Litening is a navigation and targeting device that enables aircraft to fly and target in bad weather and at night. The Litening transforms older planes into round-the-clock fighters. The Litening is equipped with two cameras. One uses heat sensors to identify targets at night and during bad weather. A second provides powerful images from long-range, and therefore safer, distances during the day. The U.S. Air National Guard, a quarter of whose fleet cannot fly at night, has purchased the Litening to enhance the capabilities of its F-16s. The Litening is also being purchased by the U.S. Marine Corps. The Popeye/ HAVE NAP AGM-142 The HAVE NAP AGM-142, known as the Popeye, is used to destroy targets, such as concrete military bunkers, with exceptional precision from great distances. It is the only air-to-ground missile that can be retargeted after launch. The United States uses the Popeye on B-52 bombers. A small number of these aircraft, armed with the Popeye, were deployed to Europe for use in Kosovo. The Popeye's unique capabilities are especially useful for the types of pinpoint strikes seen in Operation Allied Force.- Not enough space to post It all here, since I’m only allowed 4,000 characters The rest of the information is at “Breitbart-Israel Weapon Systems, Google & wake up!!
33. #6 - PS to #20
solomon ,   bklyn   (10.15.12)
And most of their parents were born in arab countries, who kicked them out and won’t allow them back. Read some history, then post.
34. #32 Yes that is the propaganda line
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (10.15.12)
But the fact remains of the $3billion given in direct military aid whixh is supposed to be spent on American weaponary, $750 million is used to subsidised Israel's defence Industries. I am sure the American Taxpayer then pays even more money for the weapons systems that you describe.
35. @29 in other words in addition to incompetence we admit
Miron ,   USA   (10.16.12)
that we are stupid, angry, and willing to waste millions of taxpayer NIS to make it known around the world.
36. #20 Moron - Every tool has a use
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (10.16.12)
Iron Dome isn't designed to knock out UAV's, it's for incoming short range rockets
37. #34 Ivor lil one
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (10.16.12)
Since you claim that's its propaganda, it's up to you to disprove them, item by item
38. RE to: "Sagging morale".......
Marek, Sweden. ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (10.16.12)
There is no reason whatsoever, why any Israelis would make any mass-exodus, and go to the places, "where they come from", especially as their countries of origin in 99% of cases wouldn't want them back at all, at any price! Besides, more than 2/3 of Israelis are born in Israel, and they don't have any other country to go to. The Israeli Jews in Israel are going to stay there for ever; the State of Israel is going to stay exactly where it is, and stay for ever. Even you, blinded by your deep, blind, vicious hate, deep inside you, you know it - it doesn't taste good to you, it hurts, but, still - you do know it!! On the other hand, your paymasters, like this piggy-faced Nasrallah, and his own masters, the Mullahs & Ayatollahs of Teheran - all of them are going in due time to vanish from the face of ME. This will happen, when peoples of Iran and Lebanon will at long last get their freedom from these fanatical, totalitarian tyrants.
39. RE to: #10, "Interesting point everyone seems to be missing"
Marek, Sweden. ,   Stockholm, Sweden.   (10.16.12)
It seems to me, that being a total ignorant, regarding the military matters, you didn't understand at all this article, which you are quoting here. The short information at the end of this article was about the future modernization and upgrade of the Israeli Navy's missile corvettes ONLY, boats of types Saar 5 and Saar 4.5, from their current, still very good radar systems, made once upon a time by the Israeli IAI ELTA company, to the future, absolutely top-of-the-line newest technology radars, made by the same Israeli company. It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the overall, anti-aircraft and anti-rocket/anti-missile radar capacity of the Israeli Defense Forces, which remains on the top, world class & standard, and is second to none.
40. camera
Chris ,   Canada   (10.16.12)
They should have used Canadian technology for the video camera underneath .. it is much better.
41. RE to #40: Camera.......
Marek, Sweden. ,   Stockholm, Sweden.   (10.16.12)
Not quite so, Chris. The Israeli company, Elbit's ELOP is a world leader in the military cameras - their extremely long-range cameras and other very advanced electro-optics are used even on the Israeli military spy satellites of IAI's Ofek-series. This equipment is of course used on the Israeli IAI Heron-1 UAVs, as well as on, between others, the Canadian Army's Heron-1 drones, used by Canadians in Afghanistan.
42. Israel doesn't have any Battleships
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (10.17.12)
43. Ivor, haven't you heard
ISH KABIBLE ,   DELNCEY   (10.17.12)
Battleships are obsolete, they require maximum men to deliver rather puny loads to the enemy Rockets are faster and cheaper, you only have to fuel them, not to feed them
44. RE to #42: YES, and so what ???? (End)
Marek, Sweden. ,   Stockholm, Sweden.   (10.17.12)
The Israeli Navy is powerful enough for its tasks, with its top-of-the-line missile-corvettes, and with its equally top-of-the-line submarines.
