This election really has been one where fame is everything.
Shelly Yachimoovitch has Noam Shalit, Stav Shafir and she tried but so far has failed to get Daphne Leef along with high profile politicians.
Lapid formed an entire political party around his celebrity status and now he is going after former high profile politicians.
Shaul Mofaz has been doing his best but failing to get high profile people to join Kadima.
Bibi seems to be the only one who hasn't been going all out to recruit the famous.

It is admirable what Yesh Atid is doing. Israel needs a strong party in the center of the political spectrum. By attracting ex-Meretz and ex-Israel Beiteinu members Mr. Lapid is showing his political wisdom. I'll be watching the success of Yesh Atid in January kalfis with great satisfaction, even if they don't change the party name afterward.
