Romney has done very well to make it such a close election but at the end of the day I don't think he has what it takes to beat Obama. Obama is also a very good speaker so he goes to rallies in swing states he is going to know just what buttons to push and thats a skill Romney doesn't have. Short of something disastrous for Obama happening between now and election day I think he is going to win by a narrow margin.

Debates may not tell you who's right on the issues but they certainly tell you who has a better grasp of the issues. Last nite a toughened President of the US showed up and debated some grad student who memorized a bunch of "me too" talking points from a list of platitudes. First this poll was according to cnn website for Registered voters not likely voters. Second it had a sample of +4 democratic voters. Third it was a spot poll and who knows what kind of people they got and fourth it had a margin of error of 4.5. I dont hold a lot of stock in it.

Don't just look at one poll. Romney clearly knows more about foreign policy and understands the consequences of Obama's disasterous Middle East foreign (to him) policies.
